Excellent outdoor dining area. Waitess was friendly and attentive. Food was very good. We had a late lunch. Two people... ordered a dinner entree, which was plentiful. The rest of us got various sandwiches and grinders. I would like to try thepizza at some point. Read more
We (me and 3 friends) were seated outside at a table under the canopy. It was very busy but our waitress was very nice,... informative and friendly. She took our drink order and those came out fairly quickly. Because they don't have a liquor license, beer and wine don't take much time. After this, things went downhill. I wish I could say it went downhill quickly...but thingsslowed down to a standstill. Long story short, we ordered 2 4 cut pizzas and 2 entrees, nothing special or super time consuminglater. An hour later, we still had no food. Other tables seated after us were already eating their meals. We questioned thewaitress who said the pizzas were ready and the entrees were 5 minutes out. Ok...we tried to he patient, knowing staffing isalways an issue everywhere and they were doing an extreme amount of take out orders. 20 minutes later...no pizza, no entrees, noexplanation and no apology. When we asked to speak with the manager, she approached us with a snotty attitude and veryunapologetic. We told her our experience and she barked at us "what do you want me to do"?. Terrible slow service. waitress/bartenders were nice though. Bartender doesn't stay at the bar. Sat without a drink for over 10... minutes Multiple other patrons sitting without getting refills. waitresses never checked on their tables for reups untill foodwas served as I observed today. Service was very slow for maybe 7 or 8 tables being full. Took over an hr to get food Drinkswere flat and watered down Observed low communication between staff and confusion. What a fantastic place! First time here and we?ll be back again & again. Came here on a Friday evening and it was a one hour... wait for a pizza. We were promised it would be a shorter wait for an entree, grinder (hero) so we ordered Chicken Francese andEggplant Parmesan instead. Both were outstanding and as good as any meal I had in Italy. They cook with the freshest ingredientsand everything was delicious. They have an extensive wine list and a nice list of beers as well. Just be prepared to wait foryour meal but it?s well worth it! Delicious food, outdoor seating was fantastic and our waitress was very nice and attentive.
First timer for dinner. Needed a reservation, place gets busy. The wait for food to arrive wasn't bad at all. Nice rustic... atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly. Place was clean. Known for their pizza we all opted for a dinner plate instead. Sawpizza's going by all night and now wish I had tried that. Warm bread came out first and that was really good. We had the friedcalamari appetizer and it was god, but not great. They over breaded it. I tried the cheese ravioli and added a side ofmeatballs. The sauce was good. The ravioli was really good but the meatballs were barely okay. It was like they didn't seasonthem at all. Still, overall I give this place a 3.5 out of 5 which is good. Hard to rate this time, tried calling for takeout a single pie for a half hour. No answer or busy line. I don't order online I... live on cash. And not very savy with that stuff. I can't speak for the food any ore ut I've spent thousands there and turnedmany friends from all over to this place. And I can't even get a pizza. So I spend half hr while driving trying to call in anorder while omw terr on my way home 25 more miles away. Didn't feel like at that point walking in ordering and waiting anotherhalf hour. Idk what it is but since covid customer service and quality of food has gone crazy horrible. Went home went to be nodinner I'm making my own pizza today. Mine better than 90 percent of the pizza around anyway. Won't be back that way for i betanother 6 months. And I won't be stopping there for a pizza either. Answer your phones.
