I have to say I was very disappointed with my last half bushel crab?s. Last year I was very satisfied and highly commended with... a half bushel crabs I took to a pool party. The price was great! The crabs were a heavy tasty mixture of male and female withcorn! This time I called the day after to complain and maybe get a do over for half price because this bushel was terrible &light. Not one female crab in sight. A waste of money after this family ran business cashier told me that the Pickins aresupposed to be like that & quoted me double the price if I get what I ordered from last summer. Scam Read more
We got 3 dozen large males and the only reason I didn?t give 5 stars is because they were a little on the smaller side but the... seasoning was awesome and they were full. I can?t remember the last time I stopped eating crabs because I was full !!!Definitely recommend these folks Read more
I have been getting my crabs here from Captain Jim?s for at least 5 years and never been disappointed. Staff great and very... friendly. Now if I want oysters, mussels and scallops, I have to go to their location on Philadelphia Rd. Witch I don?t mind. They are the best around and large sizes, they are about 10 to 15 minutes from our house. Would not go anywhere else, verysatisfied. Read more
Bought a bushel of "small" live crabs for a labor day party. Let me say this, NOT ONE SINGLE COMPLAINT from anyone at the... party. Had an 8 crab dead loss,, perfectly acceptable for me, as I picked them up at 11:30, first batch steamed at approx 1:00,second batch at 4:00. 8 dead crabs are no big deal on a bushel, considering I kept them in the box, with a moistened blanket anda bag of ice on top. VERY happy with the crabs, and price. Saved $100 on the bushel by getting the smalls vs the medium. Willbuy again!! THANK YOU Capt Jim! Read more

We ordered from here for the first time Memorial Day Weekend because all of our usual places had busy lines. The prices are... fair, and the crabs were delicious. The space itself is clean for pick up. We bought 2 dozen mediums and 6 ears of corn. Thecorn was fresh and the crabs were full. We will definitely order from Capt. Jim?s Crabs again soon. Read more
