Reviews for Dennis Point Café in Middle West Pubnico, NS
If you like fresh fish this is the place to visit. The restaurant is located across from the Dennis Point wharf. The food is... great and the wait staff is awesome. Not only is the food great but visiting the wharf is a must. Dennis Point is home toAtlantic Canada's largest fishing fleet, and probably the entire east coast of North America. Read more
If you?re looking for a good, wholesome meal look no further. This place is amazing! Our family each had a different seafood... dish and everyone shared. Their food is very tasty and well balanced. Staff are very friendly and make you feel like part of thecommunity. 100% recommend. P.S. This is where the locals go, they know good food. Read more
Worst tasteless food that was so soggy, the coating didn?t adhere to the food. The gravy tasted like coffee. Best part of meal... was coleslaw. I had seafood platter. Absolutely no taste We travelled one hour because of other people telling us so good. There was 3 of us and we threw out 75% of the food Not going back. The server was truly nice. That was why I gave a one star Read more
Great, friendly service here. The best lobster roll I've had yet with more fries than you should eat... The dessert of coconut... cream pie was fabulous also. Will return for sure! Read more

Really good food! We all had the Acadian Sampler which consists of a homemade bun, seafood chowder, fish cake with chow chow(... delicious!!) and rappie pie with molasses on the side. This was new to me and it took some time to figure out how I best likedit. ( with a little bit of molasses on it) In the end I?m glad I tried it. We also got the coconut cream pie but we ate it toofast for me to take a picture of it. It was great! Dad also had the cider called ? no boat on Sunday? which was good and he saidhe would definitely get again. We will be back for sure! Read more
The best fish I've ever eaten on East Coast. I've tried many fish and chips around USA and Canada and I was always disappointed.... However at Dennis Point Cafe fish was tasty and juicy. I took halibut cheeks, my husband traditional fish and chips, both panfried with home special salad. Finally we were able to taste fish, not oil it was cooked in. It is a hidden gem. Read more
Fries and service are the only reason we gave this place a #2. The fried clams were soggy and the coating all coming off with... some all bunched in a soggy clump. The seared scallops were not seared at all and extremely tasteless. We were not paying forthe meal and felt bad about saying anything so we regrettably ate it so our company wouldn't feel bad. We drove an hour to gothere and won't be returning to this restaurant. ???? Read more
