I went out of my way today to go to the Middleborough Dairy Queen. it?s our family tradition to go to The Falmouth Dairy Queen... on 28 before we leave the Cape; But it would?ve taken forever to get through the line. We made it to the Middleborough location. An elderly gentleman (who sounded just like my late dad who was from Middleborough), was at the window before me, asking for adish to help manage his overflowing Sundae. The girl in the window gave him a dish that was approximately the same size as theone he already had and it was no help to him. It ended up going all over his fingers and he frustratedly threw this Sundae inthe garbage. I felt so bad for him!! I asked her if she would make another Sundae and I would bring it over to his car. Shesaid yes- and then she charged me for it! I said to her, ?You could?ve done something nice, and you chose not to?. She took mymoney and closed the window. Her name was Kristen. I hope the management will speak to her about how to treat people-givingrespect to our older citizens. They deserve it. And so do people who go far out of their way to patronize Dairy Queen. LOVE THIS DQ! This is the ONLY DQ in the area that makes an M&M Blizzard correctly!! I've been to Brockton, Abington and... Mansfield/Foxboro. ALL the other DQs give me vanilla icecream with m&ms STIRRED IN! WHOLE m&ms!! Just a cup of m&m icecream!!That is NOT A BLIZZARD! It oesnt even LOOK like a Blizzard!! THIS LOCATION ALWAYS gives me the BEST Blizzard and the staffcouldn't be nicer!! Read more

The cheapest owner in Dairy Queen history. One complaint is that this location shares with a lot of Dairy Queen locations is... the portion size of their ice cream. I ordered a medium ice cream cone and the ice cream was literally less the less than 2"from the top of the cone. But this place takes cheapness a little bit further. Let me explain, every Dairy Queen location I'veever been to, in many States have always had the basic set of toppings. You can choose from chocolate jimmy's, rainbowsprinkles, dips either cherry or chocolate and last but not least crunch coat. I've gotten crunch coat in at least 15 differentStates at different locations of Dairy Queen. I asked for crunch coat at this location but I was informed they don't have any.So I inquired "Are you out temporarily?" and they said "No not all Dairy Queen locations carry crunch coat." they said snidely, They continued "It's an ownership decision, the owner decided to streamline things in order to save money and not carry crunchcoat." I understand that crunch coat is not available at every location but the reason for this location not to carry it, ispurely out of cheapness. They charge a premium for their ice cream and they don't deliver everything available to them tosatisfy the customer so I will never return. Read more
