Very few barbecue places in Middleburg, today's lunch was one of the best we've had here at this bonos. The ribs were awesome
The servers where outstanding, love the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was the worst BBQ I have ever had. Sausage was tough... but nice flavor, ribs were tough all bone no meat, and the brisket was the worst I ever had, never have I ever had to use asteak knife to cut brisket. I love Bono's BBQ. It is by far my favorite local BBQ restaurant. I went to the Middleburg location on Blanding Blvd and was... throughly disappointed. I had the brisket with French fries. My wife had the 1949 burger, loaded, with a sweet potato. Mybrisket was dry, tough, and tasteless. You shouldn't have to chew brisket like jerky. The fries were delicious. The 1949 burgerwas dry, no salt, no flavor, and my said it was like eating paper. I've never had an issue before which is why I am a repeatcustomer. I hope this was a fluke, but that fluke has earned a 1 star rating. Read more
Was not a great dining experience. We was very disappointed with the quality of the BBQ pulled pork. Not much flavor from the... cooking process, almost like the meat was cooked a few days prior to it being served. The coleslaw was bland very little flavor.Staff was friendly. Read more
Waitresses were great. Food was terrible. Got ribs no flavor. Squash casserole barely warm and was ok. Fried corn on the cob... tasted over cooked and hard. Fries weren't even good maybe old oil and generic ketchup horrible. Was very disappointed. LoveBono's in MacClenny. Read more
Best BBQ in Middleburg. Everything on the menu is great, I recommend the 1949 Burger either pulled pork. If you order fires and... get it Togo leave the container open in the car so the fires don't get soggy. Because unlike other places once they get soggythey taste terrible. Read more
Underwhelming at best. DO NOT GET THE TURKEY. It was tender but absolutely tasteless with no smoke ring and the same goes for... the pulled pork. The sauces were good but they are what made the meal edible. Having an electric smoker is no excuse fortasteless meats. Do better Bono?s Read more
Stopped for a quick snack waiting on our granddaughter to get off work. Had the chili which was amazing. Also got sweet potato... that was excellent! Everyone was friendly and seemed happy. Read more
