Tried Kelly?s for the first time and was not disappointed! DELICIOUS! Had fried shrimp. So many times restaurants use too... much salt but this place doesn?t. Food came out hot and service was good. Will definitely be back! Read more
Food and atmosphere from childhood still exists. Nicole's is a small café located in a rural setting where you can still find... country folk and food that tastes like memories from childhood that doesn't break the bank. Each breakfast plate was loadedwith more food than we could all eat today. This is not a large place but I never saw anyone waiting for a table. The staff ispolite and helpful with recommendations. The gravy in the biscuit and gravy combo is excellent! I loved the sausage patty thata friend got on his plate but I would lay money on the sausage being the same ones McDonald's uses (where do they get it? I lovethose sausage patties) It was tasty and worth every penny. The atmosphere is literally like home with lots of decorationsfrom model ships and boats to pictures and trinkets that keeps visitors looking around while waiting. The food did not take toolong and was hot when served. We'll be going back in the future. (small warning, they have Pepsi products with only one dietsoda being diet Pepsi, other than this horrible thing, the cafe is worth the trip). Read more
Nice mom-n-pop style restaurant. I had the roast beef on a Kaiser roll, very good. My wife had the cheese burger. This was a... first for us. The patty dwarfed the two slices of cheese that were side by side on the patty and the bun! My side potato saladhad good flavor and the sweet tea was just right, not syrup but sweet. Can't say the hand breaded onion rings were too good.Next time we'll try the beer battered ones! Oh, price...extremely reasonable! Sorry I've drove by so many times! To bad i do not live around the corner from this restaurant. 1st let me tell it is very nice to see a restaurant that is local.... The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered one of the featured lunch options. Chicken & dumplings , it cames with 2 sides.As sides I ordered mashed potatoes, salad & Ice tea to drink. Salad was crisp and cold made with iceberg, cherry tomatoes,cucumbers and carrots. Chicken & dumplings was the best I have had, good portion for lunch. I think the mashed potatoes weremade in house. Glad this restaurant is back open! Great food as always. Staff are still pleasant. A little tight with the seating and crammed... in, so when there are a lot of cars, we don't stop. Otherwise, we love it here! Read more
