I have no idea if the food is good, but the service is terrible. I made a reservation for a party three. I was asked to... provide a credit card on file, which I thought was odd, but provided one without asking why (my first mistake). I had to cancelmy reservation, and I called and canceled hours before the appointment. The hostess thanked me and all seemed be well. However, two days later I was charged $150. I called to dispute since I had never been informed of this policy. The hostesssaid that a manager would call me back. No call back. I left two additional messages and still no call back. I've never heardof a policy like this and even if it was legitimate, its borderline criminal considering I was never informed either when I madethe original reservation and when I called to cancel. They got my breakfast order wrong and the side of bacon was so over cooked you could not eat it. They apologized but made no... adjustment to the check. Then at dinner half the steak I ordered was what I ordered medium and the the other half was uncooked.I don’t know how that could happen but it did. The sad part is the cost to eat here was exceptionally high. I have had bettermeals at what they would consider to be lesser restaurants for less money. I do not recommend this restaurant. Read more

The seating area was lovely, cozy and classy. The food was amazing, tasty and delicious. I can recommend everything pictured... except maybe the blueberry pancakes because it tasted average but still delicious. Everything was great especially the respectfrom the staff and servers. Right in the Salamander resort, Harrimans mixes an elegant atmopshere with a well rounded menu that is enjoyable for steak... lovers and omnivores alike. Servers were helpful and attentive. The food was very enjoyable, where we had a mix of pasta, duck,and fish. A great wine selection with a Sommelier gives you an excellent range of choices. Very nice and very enjoyable. Read more

Dinner was a great experience. From beginning to end the courses were executed wonderfully. The steaks were a very high... quality, and the wine selection was superb. Most of all, our 5-year-old son has a peanut allergy, and the restaurant was ableto accommodate him. They actually changed out the oil in the fryer to cook his food.
