My husband's chicken was over done and bland he got the costoletta the cream sauce on the chicken was great the chicken itself... no .I got the chicken Alfredo which is an extra 6$ if you want chicken other wise u just get pasta with bits of broccolini Idon't like they used the stems in it my fork couldn't even go through them . The lily's pasta was fantastic and the cream saucetasted good but the chicken in my dish had a lot of hard things like knuckles and fat . The staff was very friendly I have nocomplaints about that . Lovely waitress rocio with red highlights was very pleasant and had small conversations with us, the lobster bisque was so... delicious we didn't take a picture of it because we swalllowed it so fast. Wings were great and the coconut salmon and shrimps.She worked hard we ordered alot and even got us an empty glass when requested. Must be tough going up and down stairs but shedid good. We had an excellent experience all of our dishes were top notch the manager Samantha was amazing so was our host highly... recommend Professional and clean. My first time at this Maggie's and I was impressed! The layout was pretty cool and could definitely see this being a hot spot in... the summer. The service was remarkable, and the food was amazing! I'll be returning real soon. Read more
Got pick up last time and the bread was burnt. I noticed in the car and went back and asked for more bread because of this. The... bartender was very nice and apologetic and new bread looked good but when we got home only to notice more burnt on bottom layer.They hid it knowing it never should have been sent out like that. I feel you should care about to go orders just the same as sitdown. Read more
It's been years since I've gone to Maggie McFlys in Middlebury but after hearing good things from family, I had to give it... another try. It was a Sunday evening and the place was packed. We were able to hang out in the bar until our table was ready.The host & wait staff were very courteous and accommodating. The food may have taken a bit long to come out but it was fresh anddidn't disappoint. We ordered lots! From drinks to apps to dessert, all was well or quickly fixed if, at first, wasn't. A saladwas ordered undressed, came dressed but was swiftly replaced. I ordered outside my norm and had the Shrimp & Vegetable Riscotto.It looked great, was more lemony than I'd anticipated and very filling. The drink menu, is endless but I settled on theStrawberry Basil Mule... definitely getting that again! Therefore, definitely going back again! Tips: enjoy a drink in the barof you have to wait & if having a cupcake for dessert, ask for it to be taken out of the chiller while you eat your meal.Otherwise it's far too cold & firm to enjoy. If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered tonight thru door dash. Delivery went smoothly. Opened up the box that my grilled... chicken avocado club was in and immediately noticed a long black hair in my sandwich. The worst part is that it wasn?t just onehair and that it was cooked in the melted cheese so not even easy to remove. There was another short black hair in the bottom ofthe box. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and was now without an entree. We called the restaurant and were given a refund butthe problem is bigger than that. This is a public health issue! See pictures?.. 2nd review: Tried something new as suggested and was so excited to update this review when I saw the food, took a gorgeous pic... before digging into the tostada salad- unfortunately that didn?t go as planned once I did. There wasn?t cilantro, achiote,enchilada sauce or guacamole (all listed on the menu description) I asked for no rice and instead the bowl was filled with 90%rice. I finally got to a handful of lettuce at the bottom after putting all the rice to the side. The receipt does say ?tostadasalad- NO RICE!!? so its clearly the kitchen. If I had ordered a rice bowl instead of a salad I would?ve been in love eventhough it was missing 4 ingredients listed on the menu. Can?t say I?d like to try again a third time. Hopefully this feedback ishelpful in someway. Ordered at 230pm Tuesday 9/27. Older review: Madeira chicken was a miss for me. The sauce was brown gravy,no flavor of Madeira wine at all. Description said ?sautéed chicken? but It was actually breaded soggy thick cut chicken. Notsure if what I got was an error or if the menu description was the error. Asparagus was more like a garnish, as there was foursmall pieces. Mashed potatoes were good. Read more
