Couldn't believe how busy they were at 2:00 in the afternoon but they were still able to seat us within 10 minutes. Not a large... number of tables there but you could tell everyone was enjoying their food. We had cod sandwiches and they were fantastic. Looked like a great family run environment. I didn't know they had rebuilt after the fire at the other place on Highway 20! Read more
I ordered the biscuits and gravy. It was lukewarm at best. I only ate a few bites. I should have sent it back, but we didn't... see our waitress until everyone was about done eating. To be fair to our waitress, it was busy. Read more
Great food. Not a huge menu of options and they have limited beverage options. No Sprite or Sierra Mist which is odd. Would... be 5 stars with more of a menu. Read more
Highly disappointed, my daughter order biscuit and gravy. When she starts to eat it she found a hair in her plate that was red... piece of hair. My husband also order the same thing and tasted nothing but flower and had no flavor. I order there halfstuck andmy bacon was all black of how burnt it was the same thing with my other daughters food she order. Was the worse experience everI sincerely would not recommend this place. Even though the owner did take the charges just for the plate that had a piece ofhair. When we went to pay she didn?t even apologize or ask us how everything was. Read more
We travel around the country full time, and generally like these little small town cafes. This one, not so much. Very limited... menu, and pretty slow to get the food out. We ordered an appetizer of fried Mushrooms, which we didn't receive until we almostcompletely finished our meal, and then only after reminding the waitress. The food itself was pretty nondescript. stopped of for a quick lunch. had a cod sandwich with overly sweet tarter sauce with a thick heavy bun. the cod was breaded very... thin, but unfortunately, barely cooked, not brown or crispy at all. just barely ok. Read more
