Last night a good friend and I went to your restaurant for a early dinner before it got too busy. We sat on the porch which was... lovely however our food was not good at all. I really should have sent it back. The kale salad was not fresh and no one botheredto take the stems off. It was advertised to have pecans and beets which I had very few. Both my friend and I had our salads withsalmon which was ok but under seasoned and very bland. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not eat there again. Read more

Very much enjoyed the food, drinks and ambiance of the tavern! Also glad I opted to add the salmon to my curry. Husband was... impressed with the beer list and southern fried chicken sandwich. We will definitely be back! Read more

As a vegan traveling with a non-vegan it can sometimes be difficult to find food that is suitable for both of us. I am happy to... report that we thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and food at two brothers. Highly recommended for anyone. I had the French onionsoup which was something I have not had in years and they were able to make a vegan version complete with melty cheese! It wasdelicious and the black bean burger was very good as well. My husband had the onion rings which looked amazing and he said werevery good, his burger was cooked perfectly. Would go out of my way to come back. Read more

Great restaurant in Middlebury. The decor and vibe is casual hometown bar and grille style. The service was top notch and very... attentive. The menu had a good variety of options. The traditional style grilled burgers were fantastic, my son devoured his inseconds! The chicken wings were perfectly fried, I like a little more sauce and the server was gracious to bring out extra forme. The beer cheese soup was delicious and brought back memories of my grandmother and mother's I had growing up. Read more

This is a charming student bar. You will find a lot of great beers and appetizers, as well as a decent dinner menu. The place... has been there forever so it has a lot of soul. I had a great time there. Also, there's supposed to be a dance club in thebasement but it was closed due to Covid. There are a couple of TVs with sports programs. It's a perfect place to get beers anddinner with friends. I recommend the poutine- it was delicious! Read more

This place surpassed expectations. I knew from the reviews that the food was going to be good, but what I didn't anticipate was... just how good. Everything we ordered was spectacular. Our waiter, Sam, was wonderful. My brother and mother always have funrequests and he was more than happy to help. We ordered the Poutine as our appetizer, followed by the Cheddar Ale Soup and halforder of Nachos. Following that we had the Chilled Watermelon Soup (Oh my goodness, it's amazing) and my brother ordered theSouthern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Only negative (which by no way takes away from the stars we are giving) was the fact that thebun on the southern fried chicken sandwich seemed to fall apart while my brother was eating it. We think it would be much betterwith a brioche bun. (We did finish everything 100%) only thing I wasn't able to eat were three remaining delicious onion ringsthat I'm taking to go. UPDATE: Came back in the evening for a drink and their Lemon Basil Panna Cotta... WORTH IT. Read more
