The place itself is beautiful. Susan was our waitress at dinner and she was a delight. Our food was a 10 The entire feel of... this place is absolutely wonderful. Our room is quaint but cozy. Everything is clean! I am only passing though on my way toUVM but I want to come back. I absolutely fell in love with this inn. Read more
I wish there were 2 ratings. One for the staff, and another for the restaurant. The front of this Inn was shown in the start of... the Newhart show ( The Stratford ). We went to see it. When we went in the woman who ran the Inn was more than happy to show usaround. We decided to make reservations for the restaurant that night. When we returned for dinner, that same woman was stillthere. She seated us and said a waitress would be right over. The waitress was as nice as can be. I ordered ribs, and my wifeordered the shepherds pie. When the food arrived, my ribs were way over cooked, and dry. The center of the shepherds pie was rawand not very good. It may be a nice place to stay, but I would never eat there again. Read more

I recently had a Sunday brunch catered at the Inn. It was a wonderful event! The staff was consistently responsive and gracious... from the start of the planning process through to the end of the meal. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious!In addition, we all enjoyed the lovely outdoor setting. My guests and I were so pleased. Read more
