Service and food has gone down hill bad. Chicken and noodles were undercooked in chicken Alfredo, burger was sloppy and service... was really slow, had to go to the bar to even get water. Sad to see such a good pub go downhill so quick. Read more

I walked in with a couple friends and the first thing that came out of the servers mouth was your gonna have to wait an hour... with a sharp tone that was not welcoming, when I pointed out there were empty seats and tables he said we?d still have to waitan hour without hesitation, so I asked again how come as I see empty seats and his response was it?s dirty and I have to cleanit so you?ll have to wait an hour. From that point I understood me and my friends weren?t wanted in the establishment I haveworked in the food industry and even when we were slammed I would greet my customers with a smile and a welcoming feel. I thenwent to another restaurant in town and when I told them my experience multiple customers at that restaurant said not many peoplehave good things to say. We were looking for a play to have dinner by 9pm and found this open. It was just 2 talked occupied. We got really good food and... enjoyed find over there. It was not a kind of place where we don't have 'this' item 'that one in the menu'. So the items wereavailable. Read more
Best beer batter fish I have had any where in the province yet....and I have tried them all over. The fish is so fresh and... thick. Wonderful generous portion! That I also appreciate. The burgers are hand made and mountainous. My wife loves the seafoodpasta and meatloaf. The wings are GREAT. It has become our place to go. Read more
We are from PEI & was visiting Middleton, NS during Hurricane Dorian. We stopped to grab supper here right after the storm went... through and the Capitol was only 1 of 3 restaurants that was open for miles around as no one else had power. Our wait time wasgood,food excellent and our waitress made the whole experience amazing. We will be back with our next visit. Keep doing whatyour doing cause it works and is good! Read more
This place is so nice. The people are so friendly. Great place for a family dinner. The batter was a little over cooked and/or... the oil needed changing but it still tastes good.
