Love this place but dang. Just took my father there to pick up a few slices of pie for takeout. Got home and discovered one... piece is moldy. Tried to call to alert them but no one answers and the inbox is full. So inspect carefully before leaving (oreating there). Read more

We found the diner last month while visiting the Mustard Museum in Middelton. Love the atmosphere and the pie selection! Today... was a must visit on our return to the area and we were not disappointed! Great service and the Huevos Rancheros were just asgood as the last time! Highly recommend!!! Read more
Solid place for lunch with a large menu selection. I had the black bean burger as well as the huevos rancheros, and they were... both delicious in the most classic way. They also served my food at a very fast speed, which was excellent. We also had the keylime pie and it was pretty good as well. Majority of the items on menu you will be able to find in other diners or breakfastplaces, and this place prepares them very similarly as those other places. For a town like Middleton, having Hubbard AvenueDiner is excellent as it serves many people here. Read more
The Diner was great! We grabbed seating near the cooks window. The food looked and smelled so good! At the window, tbere was a... very capable lady (maybe the manager). She was guiding the cooks and wait staff, but also stacking the plates on trays for staffto take to tables ???? just wow! And everyone moved around each other (in a tight space) like a well oiled machine. We wereimpressed. Also they have alcohol for adults and strawberry malts for kids... ???????????? i lies i lies, they`re both formeeee!!! They have breakfast all day, and dinner options. The fish fry was one of the best I`ve had in Dane county. There`s apie display and other treats. Give a try! Awesome experience, we will definitely be back soon! Read more
Very nice atmosphere, “feels good.” This was my first time. I happened to be up in town and googled for a breakfast... restaurant and was only about a mile away. I only had oatmeal will milk, raisins, brown sugar, coconut and walnuts, but it wasvery good portion. Everyone I interacted with on the staff was professional and friendly. My only criticism is that I wish thewaitress had been a bit quicker when she was asked for extra napkins, extra brown sugar etc. But that is a minor quibble. WhenI’m up in the area again I will definitely stop by to try more on the menu. Read more
Let's start with the good. The bacon was delicious. The holiday sauce is really good as well. The inside has an older diners... feel which I rather enjoy. Based off that alone maybe give it a try. Now for the bad... The hash browns aren't cooked withanything, the food is flavorless. They don't scrape the grill good enough my daughter's pancake had a bunch of stuff in it.Although they gave her a Mickey mouse pancake which is adorable. Personally I'm not impressed with her breakfast. Not even alittle. I would like to try their lunch menu sometime but I'm going to give it a while before I go back. Read more
Okay. Interestingly bland. Ordered hash and eggs, came just as that. They make the corned beef and hash from scratch, but it... seems they miss salt and pepper. Also $14 is much for the little bit you get. Then when they cook it is just one side, thenflip. The insides stay soft and mushy. Should be cooked like the scrambled eggs. For serving they put one in top of each otherand then a plate for the biscuits. They should have one dude for hash, one for eggs and biscuit in the center, plate in 1/3rds.Huevos rancheros for a vegan is just large pieces of tofu, should be chopped to by like a scramble, then the beans had noseasoning. Should keep vegan cheese and freezer for this dish. Was hoping the pies brought them back but nah. Key lime pie andwhipped cream over the top, but it was imperceivable to taste and sweetness. It tasted like just milk on the pie. The vegancherry pie was good though but not enough to take home or order online. Read more
