Best Chinese food in the Madison area! Their noodles are great but so are their entrees! Service is always fast, friendly, and... accurate. Walked in for takeout. The staff was very attentive and sensitive to my timing. Food was done quickly. The food itself was... amazing! I got the Taigu noodles and the flavor was great. Just the right amount of spice for me (but would have been too muchfor my wife). Price with tip was approximately $19 per person. Read more
Great food, great service. Handmade noodles, tasty sauces...unlike anything else in the Madison area. Just be warned that... dine-in orders are still being served in to-go packages, which I still can't get used to and feel incredibly wasteful. They dooffer plates for individual serving though, which is nice. What makes this a four-star instead of a five-star review is thefact that I stopped in for carryout yesterday and the package was easily a third smaller/lighter than what we received a littleover a week ago. So be warned that the food inflation is striking HARD here. But if you can get past all that, the food reallyis amazing. Read more
The staff was so kind and hospitable and made some great recommendations. We got several different noodle dishes but my favorite... was the pickled mustard and beef noodles. It was so great that I am getting hungry again thinking about it now. For dessert wegot the sesame balls which were piping hot and hit the spot. Now that we have tried Taigu noodles out we we definitely be comingback again and again. If you are on the fence to try this place, give it a shot. You won't be disappointed! Read more
FANTASTIC!! Ordered takeout from Taigu Noodles using Door Dash and were super pleased with everything we tried. The food is... delicious and the portions are huge. The home made noodles were perfectly cooked and so tasty. The General Tao chicken wasexactly what I was looking for. The fried rice was so good that you could eat it as is without anything else added to it. Greattake out place in downtown Middleton offering yummy Asian cuisine with decent servings . #Taigu noodles is the best noodle restaurant in Wisconsin!!! As a Xianess, where it is famous fir it’s noodles, I can tell you... my personal favorite, the cat ear noodles, tastes better than some of the ones I had in my hometown. If you want to try somehomemade noodles, I highly recommend Taigu; if you are lucky enough to meet the owner, she’s the sweetest and most kind ladyyou will ever meet. Read more
I had never had homemade noodles before, so I may not be knowledgeable enough but these are AMAZING. Great flavor. Ordered the... spicy beef stir fried noodles and they hit all my spice needs. Chatting with the very nice and friendly owner topped my visitoff. Great place, extensive menu. Can't wait to come back to try more entrees. Cost is not your typical fast Asian restaurantbut I'm fine with that! You get a LOT and the quality is far superior than those kinds of places. Read more
