Orderd couple times and both times were great no complaints and food comes fast

Do not recommend, I walked in the restaurant to pick up my food and I didn?t want to eat there, doesn't look like they clean!... disgusting if the front looks dirty i can only imagine the kitchen and what kind of bugs they got running around back there. Read more
So let's be honest from the rip. The customer service here isn't the best. Its a old school pizza shop. I'm looking for good... food and not to be schmoozed by the cashier/staff. The Pizza and grinders are really good. We live right up the street andstopped going here for a while, only because there's many pizza choices in Middletown. We kept trying the new places andartisianal pies. On our way from CVS to Stop & Shop we drove by and decided to grab a slice. Pizza doesn't have to be coal firedor have goat cheese to be delicious. Since our quick lunch trip we've managed to work Big Cheese back into the rotation. It'snice to not pay $25 for a pizza and have it still be tasty. Back to basics and we love it! Read more
I love this place, they have delicious food!!! They are always trying to please their customers. For example, my wife called... them right before they closed because she got a random craving for a buffalo chicken wrap. Although, they where cleaning thekitchen and getting ready to close for the night they still made the wrap for her and she said it was delicious. Their pizza isalso delicious. Had our first experience with Big Cheese at an event in Middletown. By the time we had the pizza it was lukewarm and was still... really good. So we decided to order it for ourselves. We went on a Thursday at around 6 pm. They were extremely friendly to myhusband and daughter when they were there picking up. We got two large pies and again they were phenomenal. They were thin butnot dry cracker thin. The crust was soft and chewy not bread like. You can literally place garlic, oil, herbs and tomatoindividualy. Theres no acidic tinned taste. We are very impressed and will definitely be back as regulars. Also we live inCromwell so there are plenty of in town options but nothing like Big Cheeses flavor. Great work guys! Updated 8/2019 So we havesince come to Big Cheese many times and recently we have been really disappointed. The customer service has been lacking mainlythe dude at the front answers the phone with no courtesy or professionalism. He?s the same in person. No hello, no have a goodnight. Like he is begrudgingly working there. We were tolerating him because the food is great. This has changed as well. Latelyeverything is overdone. The entire pizza will be brown, the cheese is so scarce it?s like a thin sheet of construction paper.You can?t name yourself Big Cheese and serve borderline burnt pizzas with far too little cheese. We won?t be back for a while asit?s annoying to pay $30+ on food that is hit or miss. Read more
