Friendly service, decent prices and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich was good. Personal opinion and just a thought but it... would?ve been nice to have turkey bacon as an option. Also ordered a plain donut and a glazed. Not a donut enthusiast but it wasgood, nothing crazy. Read more
If you love donuts this may be a good spot to try. I wasn't really a fan of that or the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel I had.
Vegan options, yay!!! It's hard to find another donut business in Connecticut with so many vegan donut options. It was worth the... 40 minute drive from Groton! Closed Mondays, but opens 6am Tuesdays thru Sunday. Read more
A whole lot of YUM awaits you at Neil's Donuts! Fantastic flavors with no artificial after taste. Take a look at the menu online... before you go so you know what you want to order. In line on Sunday morning. Be prepared to H-U-S-T-L-E with your decisions because this line is moving!!! So put on your... decision making dress and don't dawdle. Plenty of efficient staff on hyperdrive (it must be the sugar) at the counter and theykeep the line moving FAST! We got a mixed 1/2 dozen - Boston cream, Oreo, Samoa, Key Lime, Raspberry Filled and Iced FrenchCruller. Donuts were a fluffy @ss dream, amazing sweet aroma and nice, yeasty flavor ? with subtle sweet frosting. IMHO, greatdonuts shouldn't rely on frosting or glaze to make or break it. Just saying.
