A wonderful indulgence. Fresh, bold flavors in every course, from cocktails to small plates to dessert. You can tell the people... working there enjoy being there, too, which makes the service all the better. Read more

The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is even better! This has been our 3rd time at OSA and we’ve never been disappointed.... This time we got the steak, a burger, potato + garlic soup, goat cheese ravioli, and Osa spaghetti. We finished the evening withchocolate mousse and pannacotta for dessert. Everything was to die for! ???? I wish I’d taken pictures of the food instead ofjust dessert, but everything looked so good, we had to dive right in! Read more

Decided to try this place out simply because of the stunning interior and exterior design of the restaurant. Although I would... definitely say the food was delicious, I would not go as far as saying it blew me away. The menu seemed a bit small andlimited, but the meal and the atmosphere were enjoyable and the service was excellent. I wouldn’t order the cocktail I hadagain (French Press Martini) Read more

Coming from someone whose worked in the industry for 16 years, For starters, our bartender, Bren, made phenomenal cocktails and... provided excellent service. Secondly, the pickled mushrooms are a perfect started with the homemade sour dough bread. Third, the duck breast entree brought tears to my eyes after the first bite. Absolutely perfectly cooked. Flavors out of thisworld. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 will be back ASAP! Read more

Do yourself a favor and go to OSA. Rich Garcia and team have absolutely nailed it. One of the best meals my wife and I have had... in a very long time or ever for that matter. I don't know how they do it but each item we ordered off the menu was fantastic. Tothe point that you didn't think the next thing coming out could possibly be as good as the last... but it was. I can't say howimpressed we were. Read more

Beautiful location, vibe and great staff, but as of the last few months their cuisine seems to have simplified and suffered a... little. Still a nice night-out destination and eatery, but the transition is as though they went from gastronomic delight tohigh end Italian-American food. ??????? At least Cafémantic is still here to fill the gap. Read more

I don't give out many 5 star reviews - but OSA deserves this one! Excellent food, good wine list, and terrific service. The... combination of flavors in the dishes is exceptional. The decor sets the tone for what will be a fantastic dining experience. This restaurant would be a top place in any city in the world! Read more

Osa, Middletown, Connecticut Interesting décor. Not quite sure what to make of the integrated bench style seating but as each... course came out I warmed up to it… First out, the bread… Served with whipped lardo & cultured butter. It’s offered aseither or but my position is, when in doubt, get both… nice crispy bread reminiscent of that wonderful bread you get on ArthurAvenue. Both the lardo and butter were delicious. Had to pick a favorite. The menu is very much ala carte so here aretonight’s selections… Smoked carrots (gf/by) with black crème fraiche, puffed grains, carrot pickle + herbs… I’m notsure how healthy this was because healthy food is not supposed to taste THIS good! With it’s contrasting textures and flavours, my palate was in foodie Nirvana. Crispy beef shank, beef shank croquettes, horseradish mayo, bordelaise syrup, picked onion +arethusa blue cheese… Another wonderful surprise… Generally speaking I don’t consume onions unless they’re sautéed butthese pickled onions were so good I had them all. At Pete, my servers suggestion, my next course would be the baked semolinagnocchi with spicy sausage ragout, melville fonduta, fried garlic, herbs + calabrian chili. Great recommendation! Unlike thetraditional gnocchi, this was two gnocchi cakes served in an iron skillet. And like the carrots before, a blend of textures andflavours Across the room I saw a French Press which is usually an indication that there is no cappuccino here… My suspicionswere correct. That would be my only complaint. I suppose there are bigger problems in life. My suggestion…, get a cappuccinomachine… Its how I finish every meal… This has been a fabulous dining experience and one I would highly recommend! When youcome here, tell them you heard about them on The White Tablecloth… Read more
