The food was pretty good, but I was very shocked to see how little effort was put into ambience and hygiene. Not to mention the... use of all plastic and styrofoam cups and plates, it pains me to think of how much waste gets generated on a daily basis. Ireally wish they would make changes in the right direction. Read more

Imho, the taste here is very very bland. Since its a south Indian restaurant, I was at-least expecting the dosas, idlis,... sambhar, chutneys to be of the finest taste and quality. I was wrong. We drove 25 miles to taste the South Indian cuisine, butwe were disappointed. The Mysore Masala dosa, had tonnes of mashed potato, absolutely taste less. Idli was like it was preparedat least a week back. Sambhar was boiled yellow daal. Surprisingly an extra bowl of sambhar costs $3, lol. Rava paneer dosa, hadtonnes of bland mashed potato (not sure why) and refined oil. I will not review the chana-bhatura, samosa chaat or Chillypaneer, considering its not a part of south indian cuisine, but they were not of good taste either. The presentation was goodand there was cleanliness in the preparation of the food. I am writing this, so that the restaurant improves its offerings, sothat we can come again and enjoy the cuisine. All the best! Read more

Very close to Authentic Indian food. I could even say it was one of the best I had in CT. Yep, they are not into fancy... presentation or such, but what else do you expect for such price. Come to Stamford or Darian and check the price if you are verymuch into fancy plating and great customer service, but food will be Americanized. Drove for an hour, all the way fromFairfield, and every bite was worth it. Indians who came straight to corporate US without seeing the other side would not knowhow blessed they are to get this kind of authentic food. You are on the other side of the world and you are in a smallnumber. If restaurants start serving this kind of authentic food, they will only have to be at the mercy of the community wheremajority believes in saving $1 = saving 70 rs. So be grateful and dont forget to tip. 15% is minimum in USA. No ducks given ifanyone felt offended! ???? Read more

Consistently delicious and fast South Indian Restaurant! The paper dosas are very crispy and made perfectly every time. We also... get a refreshing mango lassi or hot chai to drink with our meal. It’s a casual, no frills interior but highly recommend forvegetarian folks or just if you’d like to try South Indian food! Read more
