They make salads here - it?s what they do, and now they are trying to do something else that I think takes away from their core... competency. They are making ?healthy? bowls with sweets and treats. We visited here and stopped for dinner. I?m only mildlyimpressed. The lettuce was fresh and the toppings were good- but it had a Subway Sandwich feel A they pushed me thru the linewith a type of ?hurry up pressure? that I didn?t want. I was interested in one of the warm grain choices. Neither of the threepeople behind the counter knew anything about warm grain choices or options, or what they could make with that choice - so Isettled for lettuce. Oh well. The food here is good but I despise the new packaging and I am very upset they got rid of the smoked gouda cheese. The new... package is terrible for mixing up your salad and I just make a mess all over the table! I just wish they'd fix their packaging. Read more
The salad still taste good but their new packaging is awful. You're still getting the same portion but in a very small package... that's filled to the very top so you can't mix it with out it getting all over the place. They also don't pre mix the saladwhich just adds to the mess. And there's no choice in rolls and it's not even half the size or the same kind of bread as theoriginal. Salads are still good, but they changed they way they make/package then now, which is a major downgrade. Instead of making in a... bowl and mixing/tossing before boxing it up, they just make it straight in the box so you have to mix it yourself, and there'sno room to do so without having it spill over the sides because it's filled so high. Love saladworks. It does seem like they have cut back on the portion sizes recently, but maybe it's the shape of the bowls?
Used to love to get pretty good salads and sandwiches from here but lately they must have started cracking down on serving sizes... because the amount of salad you get now is barely half of the bowl they serve it in. Food still is good but not worth it anymorein my opinion with the new Panera down the road. Edit: In my experience, the serving size for my last 4 orders from here hasconsistently been MUCH smaller, regardless of the bowl size. And from my memory, the to-go containers are still the same exactsize they have been for the last year I have been going to this location.
