Started off well. With the samosas. Quite good. 7/10. Wednesday is probably not the best day to go swanning around for a curry!... But nevertheless , the quality of the food should be consistent. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. Not good at all. There wasabout 6 pieces of chicken. Not bad. But there was enough sauce for three people. And barely warm. The taste was there, but verysalty.which gave me the impression that the curry was probably a few days old. My wife ordered the chicken biriani, but again, atad on the salty side. The rice was very dry, and again not hot. Just warm. We also ordered a roti. Which was very chewy! Theonly customers in the restaurant were three elderly ladies. And a woman with her young kid, (who wouldn’t stopscreaming!!). The I presume owner of the restaurant, sat at a table by a window near the door, on his laptop, next to him on thefloor sat a framed picture of “Guy Ferrari”, which in all accounts should have been hanging on the wall!? The ownerspresence making phone calls made me feel very uncomfortable. The waitress seemed ok. Though dressed in a T-shirt and jeansdidn’t reflect a professional look, she was pleasant enough. The atmosphere was very drab! Some light Indian music would havebeen nice. I didn’t get the mini hanging umbrellas, and the dangling light bulbs!!? The decor definitely needs improvement. Wemay consider returning on a weekend, to give it another try. Otherwise, 4/10. Read more

Unless the recipe for the Samosas has been updated since the airing of Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-in, and Dives” It would... be prudent to let everyone know that the samosa wrapper is made with LARD (pig fat). While I understand that may not affectmany, any Muslims coming to eat thinking they’re getting regular cuisine from the Sub-Continent would be in a for a rudesurprise. Read more

Guy Fieri was right, our meal started with the best samosas I’ve ever had, with chickpeas and a combination of sauces! The... tandoori chicken, butter chicken, lamb dishes all followed, equally delicious and served by our friendly waiter Tom and theowner Anu. What a lovely evening and for a very reasonable price, particularly given the level of cuisine. They offertakeout/delivery as well, but the service will have us back to enjoy another evening out with our friends. Read more
