Absolute Covid fanatics, extremely rude to customers unfamiliar with their insane rules. Apparently the owners of Bakery Plus... are still living in March 2020 and enjoy the smug satisfaction they get from scolding their morally inferior customers. Ifyou?re this irrationally terrified of Covid in 2022, maybe you shouldn?t operate a public facing business. Or move to Brooklynwith the rest of the crazies. The linzer tarts are the only thing I ever really liked here, but definitely not worth the hassleto ever come back. Read more
i used to buy cakes here for my birthdays, not anymore! the owner is super last minute and unprofessional these days. i couldn't... get the cake i wanted because she informed me last minute she didn't have the right ingredients. Read more

I have to admit, Middletown has changed, for a good bakery, there use to be a bakery shop all over! Now, if you find a bakery,... it?s NOT from scratch, and it?s definitely NOT cooked there, more put together at the shop and baked somewhere else! I have toadmit, I tried them and the cake was moist and the ingredients were exceptional! If your looking at getting a well made tastingtreat, this is the place to go! Read more
I have fallen in love with this bakery. I needed a birthday cheesecake for my bf and he sent me here. He had 3 top picks.. 1.... Mango cheesecake, 2. raspberry cheesecake and 3. Strawberry shortcake (in that order) I'm going to be honest I like cheesecakebut my favorite is strawberry shortcake. And I thought he was crazy for his order of favorites... until I went in. First ofall, they were really diligent about social distancing which I greatly appreciate. 2 guests allowed inside at a time withmandatory masks. Thank you for caring about your customers and keeping us safe. Second of all.. walking in this bakery waslike the heavens opening up and sun shining in the room. The cases full of every cookie, cake, cheesecake you can imagine... Iliterally wanted to buy EVERYTHING. I had a nice chat with the very friendly owner/person behind the counter. She was super niceand helpful to me. As far as my order.... the mango cheesecake only came in a mini cake size, the raspberry cheesecake came in a7" size so I went with that..and yes.. I HAD to get 2 slices of strawberry shortcake for myself too. The strawberry shortcakewas very light and has fresh strawberry throughout the layers... but the star of the day was that raspberry cheesecake.. OMG!Never thought I would say anything was better than shortcake but this raspberry cheesecake was the truth!!! I will be back soonas I find a reason to have another chest day lol. Read more
