This is my second time here. I had the salmon Pattie?s with cabbage and Mac and cheese this time around. My boyfriend had the... burger and fries, which he enjoyed. My food had a interesting taste! I like spicy foods but the way the Salmon patties taste I?mnot so sure, as well as the cabbage but it was edible, I probably wouldn?t order the Pattie?s again though. Kool-aid is in thestyrofoam cup and was actually really good. I?m not sure if there are different flavors for different days or weeks. However,I?m not sure what flavor I got this time around, but I know it was red. I?m giving a 4 star because the food I had when I firstcame here was better. Service was phenomenal. Our waiter was a sweetheart and very welcoming. As our very first time here we were impressed. The food... came out expeditiously and everything was hot and fresh! I ordered catfish which was the bomb and it had no bones inside with aside of cabbage and corn my man ordered the mamba burger with a side of yams and Mac n cheese and oh myyyy EVERYTHING WAS ONPOINT OF OUR LIKING?. This place is great for anybody looking for food in Middletown Ohio. It?s a staple for sure! The fried green tomatoes were to... die for and the chicken hibachi was lovely. Great soul food restaurant. We visited on a Sunday around 3pm. There was no wait and seated right away. Nice staff and welcoming... atmosphere. We ordered appetizers, Hush puppies and fried shirmp both were fresh and good. Ordered fried catfish, with sweetpotatoes, Mac and cheese and cabbage. Overall my meal was fresh and good. Restaurant is in the heart of Middletown. Nice sizedrestaurant with a bar and outside area. Definitely worth checking out if in the area. Read more
The place was amazing! Hospitality was amazing. What ever you do make sure you get the macaroni. Don?t forget the yams. Better... yet all the food is Amazing! Mz. Jade herself came out and talked to us. She?s very friendly and personable. The last thingthat did it for me is this women said she pray over her food when she?s cooking it and it?s a Christian based business. You willnot be disappointed. My hour drive was worth it. I've been twice now! Food was great both times fast service with fresh hot food. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Menu... has lots to offer and I haven't had any disappointment yet. Delicious and very generous portions. Got the sea food boiled and loved it, the sauce was excellent. The soul sauce was the... bomb! Will be coming back. Only suggestion is I wish our server had been more on top of refills, Cajun spices can make youthirsty :) Read more
Where to start? WOW- What an amazing find in Middletown OH. All the staff are very pleasant to speak with and do a great job... servicing the costumers, the menu has plenty of options to choose from for everyone's taste buds. The portions are great and theflavors of everything were outstanding... A must stop and try if you are ever anywhere near of craving the dishes servedhere... The only item missing which should be added is cocktail sauce for those who like to use it with their meals but do note-the flavors are so good you can get by without the sauce!! Read more
