From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed by the front of the house staff. The smell of Woodfire fills the room. Highly... recommend the pork, brisket, baked beans and collared greens.. and those French fries, couldn't have been any better. We will beback! Read more
An absolute must stop if your in Middleville. The service was amazing. And the food was beyond delicious. I tried the Carolina... burger and it came with a heaping helping of fresh homemade fries. Ordered the patriot platter and got home to find no sauce that I ordered $70 worth of meat with no sauce? Coleslaw was by far... the worst I have ever had. Ribs were not fall off the bone tender, they were out of sausage, Mac was bland and not smoked. Called to let them know and was offered a $5 coupon on the next order at first. I declined and was offered a $10 coupon. Honestly not sure why I called them back, so many things were so far from even good that I wouldn?t use a $50 coupon if it wasoffered. A big nope for me. From the moment you walk in you are hit with the smell of a wood smoker and delicious meat. It's exactly what you would expect... from a place called the broken smoker. The mac and brisket wrap was fantastic. I will say that the manager or owner should notbe up front, not much of a people person, but that first bite made up for that. Let me start off by saying this was THE BEST food I have ever had here in Michigan. Everything is house made. The macaroni was... so mouth wateringly delicious. The brisket had absolutely everything a perfect brisket needs. Now let me tell you I was worriedabout not fitting in, in this small town but the from the wait staff down to the other customers it was so welcoming. Theatmosphere was nice to say the least. Our waiter was on top of everything including drink refills. I got the brisket and Macwrap per recommendation and the most amazing house made French fries. believe me I was not disappointed. 10/10 would recommendto anybody stopping in this small town or even passing through to stop and have a bite to eat here.
