Their coffee, as always, was amazing and flavorful. However, the brunch we had received was rather disappointing. My fiancee and... I both ordered the double play (I believe that is what it was called) and waited for our food. After about 20mins they broughtus a single plate with only one of the meals. I waited an additional 20mins before going to the front to ask about the 2nd plateand come to find out it was done and had been sitting for a decent amount of time. They handed me the dish (without jelly for mytoast because they had run out) and I returned to the table to find my meal was room temperature. I am not angry, justdisappointed. The cinnamon rolls are the best I ever had in my life, & my husband and I are professional bakers so that's saying A LOT! Today... I got the "COURAGE" drink AKA matcha, coconut, & mint... it's the most refreshing drink!! Also I don't identify as leftist -but very very much appreciated the inclusive art, signage and general open & accepting vibe. Everyone deserves to feel like theyhave a safe place to meet up with friends, organize, work... even in a small town, no, ESPECIALLY in a small town where spaceslike that are so incredibly rare. The best vegan chik'un sandwich around! We don't have many vegetarian choices being in a small town but this knocks it out of... the park. My husband also loves their tomato soup and grilled cheese. Read more
My husband and I have been buying beans and having them delivered to our front porch for over 2 years now. The quality is top... notch and Johnny and the crew have turned us into coffee snobs. When we do make it into the store for a drink, we always say weneed to do it more often. The baked goods are delicious too! Read more
I?m so glad I finally wandered into this local café! Dare I say it was even better than my usual Starbucks run? The atmosphere,... the support of local artists and the amazing flavor has me hooked. I can tell they roast their beans in house, so I had to buy afew bags to take home. Lindsey was so welcoming and it was nice to actually converse and hear some shop stories! Really amazing service with great coffee. They have their own roastery in the back of the store which is phenomenal. They have... plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. They have single origin pourovers as well as other specialty coffee drinks. They also havecanned cold brews. I highly recommend and will most definitely be back whenever I'm in town. Read more
We went here last Sunday for coffee and brunch in search of somewhere local to get breakfast, great coffee, and space to get... some work done. We've been to left field many times before just for lattes to enjoy while walking the trail. This was the firsttime we ordered food and stayed inside. I understand the building is old but that doesn't excuse the dirty, sticky tables. Itwasn't busy when we got there, and we went to 3 different tables before we found one that had crumbs but wasn't sticky. Ifyou're looking for great coffee, go to Left Field! Run to Left Field! I love the changing latte menu and their names! I triedthe Adventure (smores) latte and will be going back for another! But. If you're looking for a cozy cafe, this wasn't it forus. We ordered 2 of the toast, egg, vegan sausage brunch option. They were exactly the same but one came out 20 min before theother. My fiance was patient and didn't want to go check on his food, but when he eventually did when I was done eating, it wasjust sitting on the counter, cold. As for the food, the bread had no flavor. It definitely needs salt or something added to thedough. The vegan sausage was the best part and was very tasty. I really hope this place only goes uphill from here and want itto be our cozy cafe of choice, but it's not there right now. Read more
