We had the best time tubing here (considering COVID safety measures in place). We got 7 runs in within the 2 hrs. Anyone can do... this (need to be 42? high to ride the lift up). Every staff member we interacted with was great. We only ran the adult runs ~and they were fast. My partner?s not a fan of heights, but was a trooper & tandem-rode with me the whole time (going downbackwards aided in this making this possible). We?ll definitely be back! Oh, for those who are a fan of Tiny Tom Donuts, theysell tiny donuts at the snack shop ~ they may look similar, but I prefer Tiny Tom's over these! Read more
2.5 to 3 stars. The scenery is what makes this place. Runs are not bad a little on the shorter side. But to many Jerry's. If... your intermediate to advanced... probably not the best place to go at least on a weekend. Still a fun place and views are sweet! Read more
Great place for snow tubing! I always go during the weekdays because it?s cheaper than weekends and also there?s not many... people. slopes are really long and the staff help a lot with all the tubing experience. I get there right after work and fromNorth york it takes only about an hour. But doing the ticketing and parking getting ready etc takes about half an hour so reallyI?m always tubing for 1-1.5 hour???? but it?s really enough!!! ~5 times of tubing feels like 10 times! Great day tubing at Snow Valley. Check in to get your tickets is quick. There is a lineup of people to get up the tubing hill.... In the 2 hour time limit we got in about 6 runs (went on a Sunday). Tubing is our family's favorite winter activity, we make time every winter to make this an hour and half trip to Barrie. It is... super fun. Snow valley's staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. Covid protocols are in place. Very impressive. Tickets needto be purchased online before you show up. New RFID technology is great. Contact less entry and to control capacity. Everythingis running smoothly. People are respectful and keeps theor mask on. Great place for outdoor fun. Thank you. Highly recommend it. Read more
Just spent two hours here tubing and it was awesome! Got 4 runs in which is understandable as it did get busier near the... end. They were keen and made sure everyone was following COVID protocols in line. Staff were kind for the most part andoverall it was a pleasant experience :) It was a far drive for us but overall the atmosphere and the fun was well worth it! Read more
I had the opportunity to supervise youth in a snowboarding program at Snow Valley Ski Resort. I didn't expect I would learn to... snowboard but I'm glad I did. Once a week, through the course of 6 weeks, a group of youth from various organizations travelledin coach buses to shred some powder! We started off on the beginner hills and half-way through the program, we started using thelifts to slide down the bigger hills. It was difficult at first but we eventually mastered the toe and heel method! Masks wererequired when riding the hills. The staff are really helpful and kind. There is also a cafe place with a variety to choose from.All in all, it was quite an amazing experience! Read more
