Bad. Spicy tuna, volcano roll, tempura rolls ordered for four people. No one could eat their sushi. It smelled bad, like bad... fish and tasted bad. It tasted like it had been frozen->thawed, frozen->thawed then served. You could feel your mouth tellingyou - it?s bad don?t eat it. We explained the poor quality situation to management 3 times and they tried to blame us for thepoor quality. They said that we didn?t pick the food up fast enough. We picked it up under 45 minutes. We?ve purchasedrefrigerated sushi from a grocery store, stored in our fridge, then eaten later that has tasted way better than this. Thetempura roll was almost acceptable (probably bc it had been fried), but couldn?t be finished. They offered no creditwhatsoever. Most restaurants take responsibility when things aren?t right and offer credit to their customers. Not here. Stayaway. Any sushi place or grocery store would be better than Yamazaki. Read more

We ordered takeout. We ordered 3 different types of sushi. All of them were HORRIBLE! Mushy and tasted like kitchen cleaner. We... asked for a refund. They gave us the runaround and said no. Read more

Everything was amazing. Their unagi is ON POINT. Didn't have weird tasting rice like some are saying here, it was perfect.

Delicious food and fast service. Jing was very sweet and efficient. We had two different sushi rolls and the chicken box. We had... leftovers for lunch today. The prices are very reasonable as well. We'll be back for sure Read more

Sushi tasted amazing and the cost was very affordable without costing an arm and a leg. Service was great and would come back... again. Pro Tip: Get the Columbus Roll Read more

Very nice and clean little sushi shop with great service. The only issue is with the food. Not all, but some. Miso and onion... soup was very good and tasty. The sushi and shrimp tempura was very sad. The shrimp tempura is not tempura but a shrimp katsu(breaded). The other items on the tempura dish was actually tempura and very good. In terms of the sushi, I ordered the nigiritype and I was very disappointed because I was really looking forward to at least ?okay? sushi. The rice needed to be seasoned awhole lot more and the the fish looked like it was either pre-cut or re-frozen more than once. I don?t expect the best qualityfish here in Columbus but the rice is at least something that can be done. My daughters katsu was fried, sliced, then re-friedwhich made it very dry. Also, they don?t serve katsu sauce with the katsu. The rice that was served with their bento was Jasminrice, not sure why. I like jasmin rice but not with Japanese food. It should short or medium short. It?s been a while since I?veeaten here and I remember it being very good. Not sure what happened but it?s okay. If you don?t care much for authenticJapanese food, I?m sure you?ll enjoy. Overall, not horrible. But not great either. Read more

Made a quick stop looking for some place I have never had and decided to give this place a try. I wasn?t disappointed. The... ginger dressing on the salad was great. My lunch was made to order with all fresh vegetables and the steak was very good. Ithad great flavor and was large pieces of tender meat. Read more
