2 years ago, as a teacher teaching during COVID, I was gifted a generous gift card from DPAC (the parent committee). Said gift... card contained no expiration date, and for obvious reasons, my family and I have not been going inside very many stores since Ireceived this. Yesterday we finally decided to venture in and buy all our road trip snacks there only to be told at the register(after picking everything out) that our gift card would not be accepted because it was from 2 yrs ago?even though said cardcontained no expiration date. this is beyond frustrating and made me feel even less valued as a teacher than I already do. Ihope the owner found it worth it to deny our gift card and lose any future business we would have given them. How greedy! Read more
