A terrible experience and will never go back. I took my sister out for her birthday dinner last night. First thing we notice is... that the whole restaurant is completely empty except for one woman drinking at the bar. The bartender lets us know that the menuis very limited, and asks us if we'd still like to stay. She gives us a notebook with everything available written on it. Wedecide to stay and order anyways. We order a spinach dip to start, chicken tenders and fish and chips. The spinach dip came outat the same time as our other food, fine. My sister asks for plum sauce for her chicken strips. We're told they don't have any.She was offered a wing sauce, and she asked for honey garlic. We watched the sauce sit ready in the kitchen while thebartender/waitress talked to who I assume was another employee or the owner. While we're waiting for the sauce (which we nevergot) my sister noticed a hair in her food. It's pretty bad when you only have one table and still manage to screw it up. Theytook her meal off the bill, and offered to get her something else, but at the point she couldn't stomach eating anything comingfrom that kitchen. Her water glass sat empty for another fifteen minutes, all the while we are still the only people in thewhole restaurant. Very disappointing experience, would never recommend. Read more
This review is for the new Cellarmans Ale House. First and foremost my Server Jai is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was... so enthusiastic and professional. Second the Food is amazing best pub burger I have had anywhere. The poutine was delicious andthe chicken wings are the biggest in the area. Just a fantastic experience! Updates and recently reopened the new owners have taken care to keep the old but good and replace the rest. Pub has a more... industrial feel but the burger was fantastic. The new owners really have put time, effort , and money into bringing this placeup to date. Read more

Decided to try this place out. Drove all the way from Barrie. First thing, there's absolutely no signage for this restaurant,... except for a small chalkboard sign on the sidewalk. The restaurant is tucked away in an alleyway. First impressions were notgood!! Here is the reason why. I made reservations a week ago. I have never been to this restaurant before, so I would not haveknown their layout or choice of seating options. The very young hostess, took us to high top tables and I requested to be in theother area which was lower seating, as I have a bad back. She was very reluctant at first and sort of rude, and made a commentsaying, maybe, next time you can be more specific. I told her that would be difficult because I had never being there before.Nonetheless, we were seated at a comfy round seated table, which was perfect. Our server, was amazing. As an appetizer, we hadthe mozzarella sticks which were really good quality. I only wish the appetizer had six mozzarella sticks, instead of five. Much nicer to share with someone else. The marinara sauce they chose to accompany the mozzarella sticks was very strangetasting. Have had mozzarella sticks in most restaurants and they usually serve it with your typical marinara sauce. This wasnothing like that, kind of ruined the mozz sticks. We ended up having the stuffed chicken which was okay, but a bit dry. Veryvery small portions of food. Another person in our party had the pulled pork mac and cheese, which he enjoyed but claimed thatit was extremely spicy. I was thankful I did not order that dinner, as I do not like spice at all. There was nothing on the menuitem to describe it as spicy. For dessert, I asked for the chocolate cake and when it arrived, we all started to taste it andagreed that it tasted very strange. I often don't put comments with my ratings, but feel it's necessary here. They have good food and nice staff. It feels like... there just struggling a bit to find their footing under the new management and with new staff. Some menu items were unavailableand food prep took a while. The lower stars isn't about quality or friendliness. It's about efficiency and organization. Thingsthere felt disorganized. I plan on returning and I hope, as they get more comfortable, the ways their struggling will improve. Read more
First off, waitress was extremely nice and amazing, food on the other was not very good. We got the fried platter and it was all... falling apart, little pieces of pickle and bread crumbs all over the plate is what they considered deep fried pickles and thenthe mozzarella sticks weren't even cheesy and tasted a little funny. As we were eating we noticed there was water leaking fromthe ceiling behind from where I was sitting besides that it looks amazing and was my first time going. We were recommended togo from an acquaintance that supposedly helps and CO owns the place but turns out hes just a liar and he hasn't been there fora while. Read more
