Donuts and cupcakes were pretty good, I'd rather a softer donut (maybe just preference) and the cupcakes definitely could have... been more flavourful for the price. To be honest I walked in ready to spend a decent amount of money on breads and whatever wasrecommended to me but the person at the desk didn't really seem interested in helping or advising me on what to buy/what waspopular even though I said I had never been and was just visiting the area. This experience kind of over shadowed the quality ofthe goods. Read more
Was looking for a bakery open on a Sunday afternoon and found Georgian bakery. It was excellent. The cookies were crisp and... perfectly baked (true baker's dozen) and the pecan tarts were exactly like my grandmother used to make. Gooey filling with adelicious crust. The owner was kind enough to give my 12 yr old grandson a brownie, on the house! My grandson was so impressedthat he couldn't stop talking about how nice and kind the owner was all the way home. I used Georgian Bakery for my son's 2nd birthday. I asked them to make me a variety of green and blue cupcakes for a dinosaur... theme and they made them look great and they tasted even better. I highly recommend them for any special occasion or event. I doenjoy their sugar cookies too, those are my favourite! Read more
The doughnuts are disgusting, taste like old oil and theyre definitely the worst doughnuts Ive ever eaten. Love the vegan loaves... though, but its not worth my time. Second time we are oh so disapointed with those doughnuts, and never again will I buy themthere. Dont waste your money go to Tims.... Read more
First Time in Midland and found a bakery that truly is one of a kind. The owner is very hospitable and his baked goods are... second to none. The cutest bakery! We walked by it in our way down to the water thinking that we would grab some treats on our way back up, only... to find that they had sold out of most of the things we had our eyes on within the hour. Friendly staff, great treats! 100%worth adding to your "must see list" of Downtown midline! I'd love to return and try all the treats especially as they freshlycome out! Read more
Disappointing Butter Tart Doughnut at the Butter Tart Festival. Look at the pictures. Looked good, but look at how far we had... to eat into the doughnut (3/4 of the way through) before I found the filling. Sadly, that was about the extent of the fillingas well, so hardly any. This had potential. I would like to say that this was a aberration, but looks like somebody else hadthe same experience today too. Store inside was also not busy, which might be an indicator. Yikes! Good news is that thepeople working there were very friendly, so hopefully things can get turned around. Read more
Small bakery, a little run down. We had a chocolate and a strawberry dipped doughnut. They were okay. Pretty dense old fashioned... style and not the light fluffy style that is more common these days. Read more
