Didn't actually eat. When we arrived there were ,3 tables empty & 2 parties ahead of us. After 5 minutes one of the parties... ahead of us left. In the next 15 minutes at least 4 parties finished their meals and left. All this time staff totally ignoredthe people waiting to be seated. A fair value for standard food. Nothing we ate stood out as especially tasty, the coffee was as good as McDonalds, and the... pancake syrup was clearly cornsyrup-based with no real maple. Very poorly managed however. In fact saying it was managed at allmay be an overstatement. After entry, it took us over 45 minutes to receive simple eggs, bacon, pancake, home fries and toast.We thought of leaving multiple times. The owners excuse was "hard to find staff" and a "big" table that sat before us. We wentand counted, there were 9 people at that table. Also, the 4 waitresses were not busy, they looked glum and unhappy, and tookforever to notice empty glasses. Perhaps 'hard to find staff' meant cooks? In total the place looked like it could sit 70people, we counted 32 (including the 9), so if they were this slow at half capacity at 1:10pm, I'd suggest avoiding this placeunless you actually want a long sit time. Well I have not been since the new owner took over for everything suffered after his taking over. Now the old staff are coming... back so I came to see how everything is. The service is great and quick again. The restaurant is clean. THE FOOD tastes greatagain and proper portions as well as fresh ingredients. I say this is the stackers everyone remembers it being. Glad whateverchanged happened because this is a great place to eat again with friends and family. Check it out you will be happy you did Read more

As one of the very few breakfast places around town, I was severely disappointed. Server was inattentive although we were one of... 3 customers in the restaurant. Pancakes were mealy and crumbly leaving a pasty taste in our mouths, and everything was stickyand grimy. We couldn't drink the water as the glasses had a white film and strange taste/odour. Coffee was decent. The Ketchup,syrup, and washroom door handles and walls were grim with stickiness. Scrambled eggs and home fries were edible, nothing towrite about. Portions were large . Decor outdated which isn't an issue but... Too bad. ???? Read more
