I love going to this place and I?m a regular. But I refuse to go anytime after 3. I have come at least 4 times now after 5pm. ... Expecting my coffee to atleast be made correctly after waiting for about 30minutes- an hour. I buy about 4-5 drinks which isunderstandable there only being one blender, and waiting a while. There is outrageous wait times and no sense of urgency. Everytime I?ve called I can never get ahold of a manager. I?ve also been told to call ahead or order online, but there still being along wait time what?s the point. There are lesser waiting times in morning with the girl who?s blonde and curly hair but I don?tmind waiting because my drinks are made to a taste standard and are consistent. The night shift tonight took about 30 minutes, then after asking the girl who only handed me one drink hands me another after 10 minutes later and I asked her, if the otherswould be made soon since I have one being melted down. I?ve heard the blender go off about 4 times now. She tells me it?s agamble on the measurements and it takes longer because of that. I?m a former Starbucks manager, it?s not a gamble and everythingshould have measurements & sense of urgency & staff members should also have a customer friendly attitude.I don?t ever complainbut I?m tired of this occurring. The atmosphere is very cozy, great for reading or chatting. Sofa beds, small tables, outdoor tables, nooks, and paintings. I... went to get coffee and read. I can't rate the food as I didn't get any, but the dishes that did come by looked good. They wouldalso bring your food/drinks to where you were sitting at rather than having to go upto the counter to pick it up. Willdefinitely come back to read some more and get coffee here. They have a assortment of signature lattes as well. I wish they hadsome variety on the teas. Read more

Love their sandwich & soup special!! My favorite drink to get is the golden latte iced with oat milk! Only 4 stars because... sometimes the brown sugar isn't mixed fully so it can be gritty but definitely one of my favorites to visit due to them havingfood options it's a go to, also lots of seating & beautiful artwork displayed ???????? Recently I have discovered that some churches open their own individual coffee shops in different areas of north Texas. I was in... the area, and I drove right by and so I decided to pay them a visit. The interior of the coffee shop was designed with a dividedlook of updated and antique decoration to it: the entryway is painted white with a fresh clean look completed by plants andartwork decorating the walls, while the inner lounge and pick up counter area has a more darker, kind of cozy, tavern style lookto it. Unfortunately their air conditioning was not working on the day I visited three weeks ago, thus I was unable to stayinside but I was still able to visit their drive-through. With the drive-through, it is pick up only and so customers must placetheir orders online and then they will have it ready when you arrive at the window. I did an Internet search for ?lighthousecoffee bar? and I think I can remember placing the order through their website, it was pretty easy. Also, they did a good job ofcommunicating with me when they had a question about my order and my order was ready promptly. I don?t visit Midlothian often, but if I find my way out there again, I will make it a point to return to this little coffee shop.???? Read more

This is the best coffee shop!! Their quality of coffee, food and other beverages is fantastic (and consistent among the... baristas). They are so friendly and it's the highlight of my day to see them and get my latte. The price is much better thanother coffee shops (without compromising on quality). The space is large and has several sections (even a great outside patioarea). There are square tables, workstations and more comfortable couches/chairs. It is always clean and well maintained. Ihave gone there to work or read, taken our kids or met up with friends. A great place for any occasion! P.S. You can callahead your order and then when you arrive your order is ready for you! There is also an online ordering system available. Read more

We recently moved to Midlothian and I discovered this gem of a coffee shop when I needed to find a place to work. It is relaxed... and eclectic, which I appreciate in a real coffee shop. The drinks are great, I have had the Dublin Ditty both iced and blended. And the brown sugar latte. I haven?t tried the sandwiches yet but the desserts are a nice portion and tasty. There are tons oflittle nooks to sit in and work and couches for a relaxed visit with friends. Super inviting and very pleasant. I noticed anadvertisement for live music and they have a beautiful gallery of local art for sale. Very nice. I highly recommend. Read more

I love Lighthouse! I really have a special attachment to this place. I can honestly say it?s the ?overall? best coffee shop... around. The place itself is clean, very spacious, and very comfortable. There is a multitude of comfortable couches and greatstudy areas where you can easily clam down for hours. The walls are surrounded by local art that is also available forpurchase. As far as prices go, it?s not only reasonable, it?s affordable. The homemade pastries are always great, and verycheap. The prices on sandwiches are a bit elevated for what they are, though. Their quality is always consistent. I have triedevery single signature latte, and some blenders and food items and Lighthouse has never disappointed. To rate this place as?the most incredible coffee in DFW? would be a stretch, but they?re all pretty good. Much better place, much more affordable andmuch more unpretentious than a certain Rhinoceros down the road in Cedar Hill. Read more
