I feel bad for even saying this came from Bonchon because I have never been to another location and got food like this before!... This is just disrespectful to the Bonchon name! First of all their tenders don?t actually look like tenders(they are round) theygive more that 1/3 cup of rice in a cup bowl and a teaspoon of ranch in a 1/4 cup container????This is just sad and disgraceful!I could have went to the corner store and spent less for better???????????. Really love this Bonchon and they?re accommodating when you ask for mostly flats. My favorite is the 10 wings half spicy half... soy garlic w/seasoned fries. *Only gripe please add seasoned fries back to door dash app for this location, as I had to go tophysical location and they were back in stock. Over the weekend a friend and I went to Bon Chon Midlothian. I ordered something off the menu that I was not familiar with... (bibimbap) with the garlic chicken. My meal came out first and I dug around in it to look at the different ingredients but Ididn't see any chicken. When the server brought my meal to the table, I asked where the chicken would be, on top or mixed inwith the ingredients (I honestly had no idea what to look for haha). The server, who was very kind and prompt, said she thoughton top and went to the kitchen to double check that the chicken was served with my meal. Enter Dorothy, Cook Manager. From themoment she arrived at our table, she escalated something that was really a nonissue with her belligerent attitude. Her entiredemeanor was confrontational, accusatory, and unprofessional. I repeated to her that all I wanted to know was where the chickenin the dish was and she very rudely pointed into the middle of my bowl and stated 'it was there but you must've ate it'. Theentire situation dissolved into a fiasco with Dorothy arguing with my friend. WOW is all I can say. If you go and have anyquestions about your food, keep them to yourself unless you are prepared to fight with the Cook Manager. Read more

This is the second time I visited this location and I have to say I?m disappointed. They apparently have an issue with cooking... the food, the first visit they served frozen octopus inside the takoyaki. Today they served undercooked chicken. The service wasbad as well, the waitress takes orders by listening to hopes and prayers. Was not surprised when everything we ordered did notarrive. Water must also be in short supply here as well since we only got a refill when she was called over to take back theremaining four raw drumsticks for fully cooked chicken and offered no apology or replacement for the two raw pieces we ate? atthis point just hoping we don?t get sick. I was excited to find Bonchon because I hadn't visited one in a while. When I walked in there were two people at the bar... talking. I believe they already had their order. I waited quite a few minutes before someone came from the back to assist me.After I placed my order it seemed to be another long wait. With that said, I would recommend calling ahead as seemed to be thecase with some oreders that were bagged and waiting for pickup. I ordered the 10 count (dinner) spicy soy garlic wings, kimchi,and radishes. The chicken was good and spicy. I would have liked a smaller portion since I was the only one eating them. Thesmaller portion is only available for lunch. The kimchi was pretty good. It too was spicy. The radishes were disappointing.They did not taste pickled at all. Last week I ordered spicy Bon Chon chicken strips. I've had them before and they're always delicious. The first image is what... they usually look like. The second image is what was I received. Big difference, right? They tasted nothing like what Bon Chonhas served for 5+ years, and honestly look like someone got grocery store chicken strips and poured sauce on them. Bon Chon hasalways delivered a great product and should want to know if a franchisee is serving this under their name. I contacted Bon Choncustomer service but have not heard back from them. The food is still top notch bit the shift in management is noticeable. The server we had began off well but the sweet tea we... ordered felt like sugar water. The service after we finished eating was non-existent. They would pass by several times withbringing us the bill we asked for. The server was also left to run a entire dining floor alone close to dinner time. I recommendtake-out but do not dine in until management straightens up. Read more
