It is. DO DINE FOR. At first when you walk in it gives it a country/hipster vibe to it. The staff are full of wonderful nice... waitresses who make you feel welcomed. The drinks are very well sweet and amazing, and oh mu goodness the Brussels sprouts. THEBRUSSELS SPROUTS. I’m not a fam but I ate about 20-30 spoonfuls of Brussels sprouts. Well seasoned that makes it addicting.The corn bread. Mmph. Let me tell you if you want that taste of the after church potluck with the corn bread your grand mamamade, Chil’ I promise you the corn bread is worth it. You also get to meet wonderful folks who are also dining in as well.Highly recommend going here. 5/5 stars is totally worth it for this restaurant!! Read more

We were headed to a nearby restaurant when CHARRED caught my wife's eye. We switched gears and went inside. Glad we... did. Ordering from the Brunch menu we had a "Brunch Pizza" and a "Brunch Burger". Last minute decision to switch restaurants,and excellent choices off the menu made for a nice lunch. The decor was very comfortable and our server was friendly andefficient. Good marks all around. Read more
The setting is wonderful and the background music is great. Lots of room on the inside as well as outside. They also have a... separate room for small parties that has a large screen projection unit. The servers seem to be attentive although service was alittle slow probably due to the continual staffing problem finding people that are willing to work. Miss you your fingers downalthough it took an hour to get our food after being seated it is definitely worth the wait. Everything was hot, prepared welland plated efficiently. Everything was delicious. The owner, James, stop by and ask for our honest review. He was very friendlyand even gave us a percentage off for our honesty. A little pricey and I didn't love the food... Sorry... It was just OK... I do like how they donate $1 per pizza to charities if... you buy a pizza on Mondays. The meatballs were kind of plain in my opinion. The Margherita Pizza was meh. I think they bothtasted a little better the next day. The Brussel sprouts were dry and also just OK. I tried adding balsamic glaze to it, and ithelped a little. I think I just prefer my Brussel Sprouts steamed and not roasted. I also thought the Orange Crush (maybeTangerine Smash?) drink was just OK. I hear a lot of people like this place, so maybe it was just an off day for me or them.I'd try it again someday. Read more
We finally got to scratch this off the restaurant bucket list tonight. Food was decent but a little over priced. We had the... meatball appetizer, which was pretty tasty. For our main course we shared the white chicken pizza. I was pretty pleased withthose two dishes. We ordered a lemon dessert thing and got the cream brûlée cheesecake instead, which turned out to be prettygood. I wasn’t super impressed by the service. Not sure if I’ll make a second trip or not (our bucket list is long) but ifwe do, I have a few more things I’d like to try! Read more
The food is generally good and there's something for everyone! I love that we have an establishment like this out here as it... brings elevated cuisine you see nearer/in the city. My favorites are definitely the scallops, cornbread, and shortbreadrigatoni! The cocktails are a little on the sweet side. A great for a date night if you want to stick around Midlothian. Servicecan be hit or miss depending on who you get. Read more
