We stopped in after shopping at Sam?s Club on a Saturday afternoon. We were immediately greeted by Allison who was... entertaining, professional, very service oriented, attentive and generally a warm and caring person. Our orders came outquickly, our drinks were delicious and our experience was more than we could have asked. Our boil bags were plentiful andthere were no issues with the weight or quantity as others have expressed. Having dined at a the Broad Street location manytimes and having dined at other restaurants of this type, we found the size and quantity very fair for their prices. Therestaurant was very clean and it was refreshing to have such prompt and attentive service given the lack of personnel otherrestaurants are experiencing. Shrimp were soggy as if sitting in water too long. Since they are not deveined it created a mess when handling them. The Cajun... flavor was okay but when cooked with the crab legs they had little flavor. Not a good quality. The steamer bags do not make goodseafood steamers. We dined in on April 24th and although the building was completely empty we believe that service wouldn't take long. Allyson... our waitress was super nice and informative. Upon getting our food which was hot and what we expected after one bite of corn Irealized that hair was in my bag. I asked could my bag be remained. I was told absolutely! When the new bag arrived shortlyafter, I was told that this was a fresh bag and they were sorry for the issue with the first one. After opening the bag I sawthe same corn with the bite out of it from the first bag. I asked yet again could I actually get a new bag made and if I couldkeep this bag at the table to make sure I wasn't getting the same bag again. the cook proceeded to come out and tell me that hedidn't know how the hair got in the bag because he was the only one in the back cooking and he had no hair. He told me it wasfresh and he rinsed off the food and forgot ro throw the corn away. I told him regardless there was hair in my bag and all Iwas asking for was a new bag of food. He told me that he couldn't make a new bag if he didn't take the one back from before. Itold him I didn't want that food at all I just wanted fresh food without hair and I thought that's what I was getting atfirst. I just told him he could have the bag and I disnt want anything. If they charge you for food by the pound you should get a pound of food. When the cook refuses to take your challenge to weigh... the food you know you aren?t getting what you paid for. Won?t be back and that?s disappointing because the food taste is great.This is supposed to be a pound of snow crab legs. The larger of the two clusters the largest segment of the largest leg was 31/2 inches. I buy snow crabs twice a year from Publix and I always get about 3 clusters per pound. So I've had the food before and it has been much fresher in the past. I was disappointed. The corn had been recook so what else... in the bag had been recooked? I was sick all night. The crab did not taste freshly cooked either. Though you can warm seafoodup you can not leave it out. That is what I suspect. I won't be going back. Read more
