The mussel appetizer was excellent. Plenty of sauce to spread on the bread provided. The fish was cooked to perfection, light... and flaky. Choice of a Jalapeno Lime Sauce or Butter Sauce. Asked for both since I could not decide...both were flavorful. Read more

My husband and I had dinner here Saturday and the food was delicious. My only complaint was it did not come out hot. We... expressed to our waitress, who was amazing, who immediately offered to fix the issue. Other than that I would recommendchecking this place out. Read more

Took my daughter on a mommy and me date ?? She absolutely loved the shrimp tacos and the lobster soup. We had chicken and shrimp... Alfredo with broccoli to go. Everything was delicious, the waitress was so sweet (she got my daughter milk when she ate ajalapeño on a dare ????). The environment was clean and the food was served in a timely manner. Read more

Another 5-star trip! Service was excellent, food was filling, waitress was professional and kind! Restaurant was clean and... orderly. No complaints at all; this was my third or forth trip to this amazing seafood spot. If I had to give any feedback itwould be around the restaurant detail. For such a nice place I would definitely upgrade my cleaning standards, ensure touch lesshand drying and even adding a foot pedal on inside of the bathroom door so you don?t have to touch it as you walk out. Overall,HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Read more

Very good seafood restaurant. I got the stuffed flounder and it was perfectly tender. The fries are a house made "steak style... curly fry" that is fairly unique (see photo). The hush puppies are in a sweet honey butter (basically honey combined with meltedbutter). It was really good (much sweeter and honey-we than Texas Roadhouse), but I kept thinking I was eating a donut, so mymouth was confused. Great ambiance with a brick wall and half the dining room can't see the TVs (if I see a TV I have to look,so I like when there are none). It is a bit loud inside when full though due to the layout. I want to give this 3.5 stars. There are two locations one in Stony point and the other is in Midlothian. Aesthetic wise the... Stony Point location seems much more upscale. The Midlothian location feels like a bit of a downgrade. There are tables withwooden and metal chairs. It feels a bit like a seafood sports bar. We ordered the lobster bisque and we were very disappointed. There was no lobster in the lobster bisque and it was very oily. As I was dipping my spoon I could see bubbles of oil in thesoup. It was not very creamy as other lobster biscuits that I'm used to this was fairly watery and oil based. As always Iordered the shrimp and grits because if you know me you know I want to try shrimp and grits all over the world. I would give theshrimp and grits a solid three, not being the best I've ever had but also not being the worst. I think the important part of agood shrimp and grits is that the ratio of meat shrimp and grits is equal. I don't want to feel like I'm eating tons of meat byitself. And I want to have a good amount of grits with every bite of meat. I wanted to ask for more grits. The flavor was alsothat of the lobster bisque it tastes like they just took lobster bisque and cooked the shrimp in it the shrimp were very largeand meaty and deliciously flavored and the sausage was delicious as well. My kids ordered hamburgers. The french fries areamazing this is why I would give a three and a half. My mother had fried shrimp the shrimp were very large and they wereseasoned well however the sides were lacking. The mashed potatoes were just okay and so were the string beans. I felt like forthe amount we paid for dinner all of the food should have been of a better quality. I'm not sure if I'll try the Stony pointlocation hoping for better but just know if you order the lobster bisque don't expect to see the lobster, I think the lobsterjust ran through it. Read more
