I am a big fan of The Grill at Waterford. Cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant with a varied menu and excellent service. Some of... my favorites include the Southern BLT which includes fried green tomatoes on the sandwich, liver and onions dinner entree andthe shrimp & grits entree. The drinks are generous and well crafted. Nothing real fancy but I think you will like the comfortfood and friendly ambience. Read more
This place reminds you of the TV show 'Cheers'. With at least 80%of the guests being regulars and even newer people falling in... love and returning on a regular basis. The owner Ms Sara is such a lovely lady and she makes the BEST deserts (all homemade)!!The food here is pure comfort and the staff goes above & beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Fast service and friendly staff. We ordered the chicken pot pie, banana fosters french toast, cheese grits, and a breakfast... sampler (not sure of the name). The banana foster was really good. The pot pie was different but not bad. Could use a bit moreseasoning. The potatoes I could tell were frozen and not fresh but it was good. The cheese grits lacked flavor. This is your friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant, with a large dose of attentive service from the wait staff, very good... comfort food, and reasonable prices. Our group of four ordered a variety of dishes, ranging from blackened catfish, Tuscanychicken over stir-fried zucchini and squash, and a Philly cheesesteak. All the dishes were excellent. Read more
Cute little casual dining spot with great, small town vibes. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It's a small spot that can... feel a little cramped so might not be the best place to settle in for quiet conversation. Overall, one of the better restaurantsin the area. Read more
