Way over priced for a burger joint. Over 7 bucks for a burger, 7 bucks for a shake, 3 and a half for fries. Could have had... better quality at McDonald's and saved a bunch. No problem getting a table as my wife and I were the only 2 in the place. Read more
The interior of the restaurant is kind of run down and dated, but the tables and benches were very clean. The staff was super... friendly and pleasant. Order an avocado bacon cheeseburger. Fantastic hidden gem. Think Apollo Burger, but on a smaller scale. Also the name is a little deceiving. They don?t just do... burgers. I had the chicken kabob platter with a salad and rice. All that was just $10 and it was DELICIOUS!!! The wait is alittle long to get your food so don?t come here if you?re in a hurry. Great food - small family owned place that is basically the same food and prices as Astro, Apollo, or Crown burgers. Service was... a little underwhelming, so we were a little worried about the food, but the food was all good, a little better than expected.No-frills burger and fries. It doesn't look like they offer drink refills (it's behind the counter) and I think they mightcharge extra for fry sauce. Read more
Okay, run down Little Shack with old seats old decor and an old sign. So it's not the decor or the ambience that brings people... in and has kept this place in business for decades. It is the food, it is the fantastic ladies who run the place, and you won'tregret it. Right off the bat I need to point out that even though the interior is old it is kept amazingly clean. Which ofcourse is part of the fantastic service that I gave five stars to. Not only are the staff friendly and really good at their jobsof cooking food, they're clearly meticulous and keeping that place clean where most people would tend to let it go because itwill fit the decor. I recommend to anyone who likes spice to get the jalapeno burger. Instead of putting canned pickledjalapenos on the burger, they saute fresh jalapenos with onions, melt cheese over that and place it on the burger with two bigthick strips of perfectly cooked bacon. It really should be called the bacon jalapeno burger, but I'm glad it's not because thatwould give away the surprise of how good it is. They have really good fries, and they have really good onion rings, but even ifyou don't like zucchini you should try the fried zucchini. I personally don't like zucchini in anything, I don't even likezucchini bread. But I love the fried zucchini. The other thing I've got to give a shout out to is their shakes.
