Favorite Indian place in Salt Lake and Utah County. Visited about 7 different times and each time has met similar expectations.... Food is delicious and service is top notch. Waiters have been super friendly and very attentive to drink levels. We?ve tried ahandful of appetizers and loved each of them. Same goes for the handful of entrees that we?ve eaten. The gentleman that runs this establishment used to run India Palace off of 10600 a few blocks east of 1300 W. This place is... excellent. Sukhpal is so kind and accommodating and can make your dish just about any way you wish! Punjabi lamb and Manchurianchicken are solid dishes that won?t disappoint! These guys have all the precautions signs up. Like please wear your mask but none of the patron's were wearing one and the... workers all wore there mask and they didnt care if you did or not. I ordered there veg samosas it had a nice crispy crust andthe flavors were very nice price was very reasonable. This place also serves soups like saag and I've never seen that at Bombayor Indian palace but then again they may have and I didn't notice. The mango chicken was very nice just the right sweetness Iasked for med heat and it was perfect. there Garlic naan was very good. Good Indian food. Authentic food, friendly service. Not the best I've had, but most of the dishes were good, service was great.... Might be some personal preference, but overall nothing really disappointing. Really good naan bread, some of the best. Tikkamasala was ok. Pretty heavy emphasis on the tomato flavor. Coconut korma was probably the best dish that we tried. Vindaloo wasgood, not amazing. When you order they ask you what level of spicy you want. Our group got "American medium" at therecommendation of the server because she said you really needed a little bit of spice for some flavor. 2/3 people thought thefood was probably too spicy and would have wanted less spice. I am traveling, stopped in to grab something different. Food was wonderful. I had onion Poblk... something, as appetizer,... chicken tikkie Marsalis, and garlic chillie Naan bread. It was all great. Came here with some coworkers and were absolutely blown away. Everything was absolutely delicious from the pakora to the... biryani to the naan. The servings were generous, and the staff was ultra friendly as well. If I come back to SLC I willabsolutely be returning here. Read more
