We’ve been here in winter and now in summer. Both times we’ve loved the ambiance! In winter we love the gloves & tonight... (August) it was lovely sitting outside eating dinner listening to live music. We always recommend getting the bruschetta! Thepear, blue cheese & candied walnut salad is my favorite. Cafe Galleria was a cute little place! It had great food and a nice patio that we could sit on with our dog. We were able to... order 2 meatballs with no seasoning/sauce and our boy loved them and some smoked sausage from my pasta. Very dog friendly forthose who take their furry family out with them and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommend the bruschetta appetizer too! Thepasta was very good and my wife got the lasagna which I have to say is the best I have ever had. Great place and will definitelygo back. Read more
My husband and I came here for my birthday. I was very excited to do the Aspenglobe. It was beautiful. That was a very nice... experience. Um, the food was very questionable. We got an appetizer and found a hair in it. I ordered a raspberry mimosa. Theraspberries were molded and the drink was hot so I could barely drink it. I don’t recommend this place honestly. A wonderful place to dine in Midway!! The outdoor seating looked really cool and the tables were full, which is always a good... thing to see, means the place is good! There was room inside and the dining room was really cute and quaint. Ordered one ofthe flat bread pizzas with a glass of wine and it was excellent!! Watching the pizzas come out of the wood fired oven was prettyneat also. A nice way to end the evening after seeing the Ice Castles. Midway prides itself in stating it is the "Alps of theUS". This place had a European style ambience to it and scooters as part of the decor was really unique. Well worth the stopbefore heading back to the Homestead Resort. Read more
We reserved an outdoor globe months in advance to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The ambiance of both the inside and outside... of the restaurant was adorable. We did have to wait on our globe for about 20 minutes despite our reservation, but they didoffer us free (very tasty) hot chocolate. Service with Daniel was great and he was friendly. Food was good not amazing, twopeople in our party ordered the Steak, but neither had the correct steak temperature. Definitely a photo worthy experience, butdon’t go for the food. Read more
I was super excited about this dining in an alpenglobe experience but was nervous because of some of the bad reviews. We had a... great experience! We got seated right on time, the globe was clean, there were no flies anywhere, and the heaters worked great!The food was super good, and the hot chocolates were so cute and delicious! Our waitress, Ty, was the nicest person ever! Shewas perfectly attentive, gave good recommendations on the food, and had suggestions to get the most food for our money. Likeinstead of 4 kids pizzas and garlic bread appetizer, we got a large pizza and a garlic pizza appetizer. She also suggested myhusband do 1/2 & 1/2 marinara and Alfredo because he was torn between the two. The dinner salad was really good with freshgreens, cucumbers, and tomatoes. The lasagna is great and different than any lasagna I’ve ever had. It has bell peppers in it,and nice flavor profile with spices and herbs. We had a great time! Read more
So much to say about Café Galleria! First, the alpenglobe is 100% worth it for a special occasion or to have some nice privacy.... I’m glad we decided to reserve one for our girl’s birthday! Second, the breakfast menu was delicious! It would be worth itto eat here even if you didn’t have a globe. We ordered a bagel sandwich, a normal bagel, a two egg plate, a waffle, a pieceof french toast & pancakes. So much food! But everything was incredible. Lastly, the hot chocolate is AMAZING! I had to order asecond because it was so delicious & my kids wanted to keep drinking mine. 100% recommend! Read more
Café Galleria is a fantastic place that has that Swiss feeling. My second experience and the perfect get away. Reserve your... space in a Alpenglobe for only $30 for 1 1/2 hours. Nice and warm with heaters and blankets or bring your own. Prices are alsoreasonable. Take your entire family or a nice place to to take someone special. The experience was great! Read more
