They ruined it, last time we were here it was a smooth experience. You got in and the way they had it set up few lines... formed. New management decided all must enter at same time. We had a reservation at 3. Arrived at 2:50, not a single table isoccupied still make us wait as foyer builds up. No one seated until 3:10. Biggest parties first so when we are seated half anhour after our reservation we have to wait just as long in line for our food. Whatever new management is here has absolutelyruined a previously great dining experience. I would say the manager should resign but such an action would require higher levelof thought and self reflection than he posses. Read more

Ah man, I don?t really enjoy doing this, but I value the reviews I read when trying a new place. If it weren?t for my waitress,... it would probably be lower unfortunately. My bacon was just shattering, almost seemed as if it was microwaved. (I know it wasn?tbut that?s the feel) My egg wasn?t too bad, and the potatoes were very basic with the seasoning appearing to have beensprinkled on after the frying. I?m no chef but I wasn?t super pleased. The water?.is metallic. I get it?s an old building butyou gotta be drinking that water too correct? If not, it?s because of its taste. If so, you must be used to it. Thanks Simon, Ido wish the best for your restaurant. Read more

Frozen food reheated. They won't be winning any food awards for reheated French fries and reheated ravioli. In a town known for... good food they should be embarrassed, Well, they should be embarrassed in any town for not making their food. Come on, eventeens know how to make fresh french fries. Gordon Ramsay would say that the Chef doesn't care and has given up. $20 per personfor trash food. I wish they would at least try. Read more

The bacon cheeseburger was excellent, very juicy and bacon crispy. Fries were very good too. The Pizookie was divine, we came... back several times just for that hot cookie in a skillet with ice cream. Read more

The food here is actually pretty good, but unfortunately the restaurant service is pathetic and completely removes any hope of a... pleasant dining experience. We are here with multiple couples and my wife waited 1.5 hours for her food. I asked our server 3times where her food was and was told ?it?s almost ready? over and over. The other couples actually finished their desertbefore my wife got her meal. Our server disappeared for a while so I actually got up and went to the hotel desk and got us somewater. No apologies, snub attitude. ZERO customer service. I have no idea how this place even stays in business. I understandThat sometimes restaurants just get too busy. But I really didn?t see very many other people here. Every other restaurant I?vebeen to, when they mess up and forget to bring a meal out, they at least offer to comp the meal as a courtesy. Not here. I donot blame our server for our horrible dining experience. I blame whoever manages this place and failed miserably to train theirteam on how to give their customers a pleasant dining experience. Read more

Very disappointed Family for dinner - July 31 - very short menu - most of us had steak - the worst steak I have ever had, mashed... potatoes cold - vegetables seemed a few days old - server had little training if any. Used to be a very good place for dinner -not now - won't be back anytime soon. Read more

Wonderful place to dine at the Homestead Resort! Beautiful dining room and awesome views from the large windows! Breakfast here... was great and very cozy with the fireplace going and snow on the ground that enhanced the already beautiful views! Dined herewhile staying at the Homestead and it was a wonderful experience! Also a nice added amenity they sold wine by the bottle whicheliminated the need to go into town and find a place that sold wine. The place had a Happy Hour as well which was also a nicetouch!
