Went here for our honeymoon dinner. I didn’t eat a single thing besides a slice of bread. I ordered Caesar salad and lamb t... bone. The salad was awful, wedged and sloppy looked I could have prepared a much better salad for the chef my self. The lamb wasgamey and tasted like the chef was really trying to spruce up a piece of meat that shouldn’t be on the menu. All in all Ididn’t eat, she did. They comped all of our food besides drinks. I tipped the waitress that was awful at her job, Danielle.Never brought us bread even, I had to ask a separate waiter for that privilege. She had no care for our visit and didn’t likeus it felt like when were pleasant. You can tell when you are getting bad service. Read more

My husband and I went to the Blue Boar Restaurant for his birthday. I had never been there and was pleasantly pleased with the... atmosphere and the delicious food. We opted to sit out on their patio. Weather was perfect for eating outdoors. They havecertain meal options each day of the week. Our choices were Ribeye steak or Halibut. We chose the steaks and they weredelicious. We will definitely return again. Read more

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. We loved the fondue as a starter, which had delicious sourdough bread,... broccolini, a spicy sausage, and chilies. We also ordered the Schnitzel (which lacked a little salt, but fixed with availablesalt shaker) and the Filet Mignon (which came with delicious potatoes and carrots). Upon learning that we were celebrating ouranniversary, Annika, our server gave my wife a red rose. We felt service was excellent and the food amazing. Read more

We stayed here twice and both times we were really happy with our stay. Breakfast was excellent especially the Sunday brunch.... Dinner was good too although menu is somewhat limited. Location is great, right across from the Wasatch Mountain State Parkentrance. We would come back again! Read more

Best food in Utah, hands down. The chef must be a wizard. We gave this place a try for dinner and were thoroughly impressed. At... first I was a bit disappointed that we happened to go on a day that it was prix fix but after getting my chicken dish, (can'tremember the name but it had capers and spaetzle) I was convinced the chef could make me love anything. I've never been thatcrazy about a chicken dish before but this one definitely changed my expectations and will always be legendary in my memory. Ifyou're going to spend the money I highly suggest spending it here. Read more

Our stay at the Blue Boar Inn was fantastic. We went to Midway for a weekend getaway over Valentine's. The front-desk staff and... restaurant staff were very professional, kind and made us feel at home. We stayed a couple of nights in different rooms. Eachroom was really elegant, quiet and clean. We had breakfast each morning in the restaurant and it was fabulous! The Sunday brunchis not to be missed, you won't go away hungry. We also splurged a bit and had a four course dinner one evening. It was wellworth the price. Everything tasted delicious and for a high-end restaurant, the portions were much larger than expected. As forthe area, there is lots to do. We did tubing at Soldier Hollow as well as the Biathlon Experience which were both super fun. Wedrove to Park City (less than a half hour away) and spent hours there strolling on historic Main Street. The Heber ValleyHistoric Railroad was relaxing as well. In the summer this place is literally walking distance to trails and golfing. Read more

We stayed two nights and enjoyed dinner and brunch here. The service was amazing and went above and beyond to make the stay... special. There was a turn down service offered every night that included a tray of goodies. The atmosphere was also wonderfulfor a romantic getaway. The food was spectacular and my husband and I both highly recommend the scotch eggs for brunch. Overallit was a great experience. Read more
