My family and I have been going here for years. We went for a birthday party tonight. The host was not very friendly at all. She... looked like she hated her job. However, the manager was very nice and our waitress was even better. It was a little slowgetting our food, but overall it was good and friendly service. I was impressed with the reasonable prices and relaxed atmosphere of this chain-style steakhouse. The staff was friendly and... kept us in filled drinks and mega hot rolls. Those rolls are great, by the way! The steaks that our gang ordered were all cookedwell. I opted for a hamburger called the "A" burger with Chipotle BBQ sauce, bacon, and the usual hamburger fixings. There areplenty of options for people who don't want steak, but the steak crowd are going to be happy and not have to pay so much for agood meal. Read more
Worst lunch ever at the Midwest City location . The fish tacos were horrible and should not be on the menu. The fish looked... like dehydrated meat and the coleslaw was slimy. The rice and beans also looked dehydrated. I tried to eat it but I couldn?t. When I told the waitress the tacos looked terrible, she agreed. I remember why I don?t go there anymore. This restaurant has the best steaks! Our waitress, Mikayla, was also great! Our whole family loved their food and drinks. Great... drink menu! There was no waiting for seating and our food was brought out promptly with a smile. There are TV's in all theseating areas. All in all a great experience with the food and service, for the whole family. Thank you to all the staff! Read more
Our waitress did an amazing job and was tentative. The food is another discussion though. My wife ordered the fried fish and it... tasted dirty and my shrimp tacos had so much coleslaw on it that the flour tortillas broke. Everything else was alright. Update Around 6:45 on April 3, 2022. My sister and I decided to check out Santa Fe Steakhouse again after sometime. Caitlyn our... server was okay. Our food though was not. Me and my sister both got steaks. I got a 14 oz New York strip and she got a 6 ozsirloin I requested medium and she requested medium well. Unfortunately my steak came back almost well and her Steak was dry andrubbery. We cut our stakes in front of our waitress and noted that they weren't prepared how we asked, but we were pressed fortime and starving so we try to tough it out with some steak sauce. That did not help. I may have eaten a quarter of my steak andmy sister barely touch touched her. Not to mention our sides weren't too good either. My green beans we're very salty and mysister's rice tastes too sour. Our waitress said that she would mention it to the manager and complained how the kitchen staffloses their mind whenever she's working probably an effort to salvage her tip. When she returned there were no discounts orapologies from the manager for the subpar food. Now if this is how Santa Fe does it, I think I'm good on not coming back. I gaveit a second chance but I'm dropping my previous rating from a 2 star to a 1 star. Monday Aug 23rd 2021 @ 530pm So I don't knowif I caught them at a bad time or what, but it doesn't look too busy. I came in for dinner and nobody was at the front desk so Iwent straight to the bar sat down for about 10 minutes. No bartender or waitress asked if I had been served. Great experience. Came in on a Tuesday at 6:30 PM and there was no wait, and although it was busy, I got my food quickly and man... was it good... excellent steak and perfect shrimp. The onion rings appetizer was the best I've ever had anywhere. SHOUT-OUT TOJUSTIN, MY SERVER. He was so polite and had a great attitude and it was a blessing to have him as a server.
