I'm writing a great review because I want to say thank you to JR's in Milan. For the first time ever, I had a meal that I didn't... really like. I hate to mention things, but I happened to make a small insinuation when we were checked on. Our waitress, Alyssa,picked up on it immediately, gave me a couple of options and went back to the kitchen. Not even a minute later, I was talkingwith a manager/lead who wanted to talk about my meal, what happened with it, and how I could be satisfied. They were so so sokind and compassionate, really made me feel valued. With a couple more niceties, we walked out very pleased and totallyrefreshed by our experience. Thank you, JR's staff for being so great. After a long day at the hospital, you definitely cheeredme up without even knowing I needed it. I appreciate you. And keep on keepin' on, Alyssa! First time eating there. Steaks were done to order and tasted great. Service was fast and attentive. No complaints! We didn't... order any but they also serve alcoholic drinks. Will definitely go back. Read more
Mixed drinks were excellent, fried food was good, but the entree was served cold and incomplete. My meal that was supposed to... have mashed potatoes on it was served without, and we were told that the mashed potatoes are just an option on the side, whichis false according to the menu. No accommodations were offered except for the waitress saying she ?might be able to get me aside of mashed potatoes for free.? You can make at least 5 of the meals that I was served for less money than what JR?s willcharge you. Read more
Wasn't sure what to expect but the website looked like this might be a local version of a Texas Roadhouse and I would say it was... a very good comparison if you have never been to this local small chain of locations. The food was very well prepared andtasty. I was really happy that my filet was cooked to a true mid rare. The service was great. We will be regulars when we needan easy quick night out. Read more
