What a great place! The staff was attentive, friendly, efficient and quick. The food tastes homemade (which I think it has to be... but I didn't verify), the portions are right and the options are broad since they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner even at 1pmin the afternoon on a Sunday. I ordered the breakfast Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. I wasn't in the mood for eggs so they werekind enough to let me change my egg side to hard boiled eggs that I can use for lunch later. And per our servers suggestions Iadded cheese, peppers and onions to my shredded potatoes (she had a vast list of favorites to help us decide). A tasty addition!My dining guest had the Sausage, Biscuits and Gravy and the biscuits definitely looked hand made and were delicious as well aseverything else. I highly recommend a stop here for the history buff (it's within walking distance of a lot of small towngoodies: antiques, confections, Thomas Edison information), the mom and pop foodie and everyone that wants to walk away with asatisfied and full belly. Excellent breakfast. Awesome staff. Made my way in with my daughter and granddaughter on a quick weekend getaway. All three of... us enjoyed our visit in Milan, too. Came back the next weekend for the same great breakfast and time well spent with mybrothers. My favorite is the omelets and the cubed potatoes are the bomb... The food was delicious! My husband has a Cajun burger with jalapeños, I had a 1/2 lbs melt with sautéed onions and mushrooms,... my son's both had tripple plays (breakfast with eggs, sausage, and pancakes), and my daughter had chicken strips. The onionrings were very flavorful! The fries were homemade potatoe fries fries amazing..The boys said the pancakes were the best theyhave ever had. The burgers were fire! ???? Read more
This place is an absolute gem! The service was excellent and the food was incredible! It's a diner atmosphere and you can tell... everything is homemade. We had the cheesesteak and the chicken sandwich and I'll be honest... Who knew a chicken sandwich couldbe so tender and delicious! The blueberry crumble was perfect!! Read more
