If you want Southern food like fried chicken, fried steak, grits of hash brown casserole then this is a good affordable place.... Wait staff are friendly if not one of the friendliest staff we have ever dined in. They make sure you are satisfied with yourexperience. The food like I said is mostly fried and if you are trying to eat healthy, they have grilled food. But the reasonwhy you went here is to have some of that fried food and let me tell you they are tasty! The have that part where they sellsome cute stuff and clothing and also some local food like snacks and toys and seasonal stuff and decors. It has been atradition for our family to swing by any Cracker Barrel when we are on a road trip specially down south. Our kids love it. Thereason why I knocked one star is the limited food available for the health concious, but otherwise its a great place. Read more
6/26/22: Had the bone in Southern fried chicken (4*, decent but Popeyes is better, hands down), with turnip greens (2*, had a... weird flavor, def would not order again), and the hash brown casserole (4.25*, pretty good). Read more
This place is a classic. Got the pot roast and it was good. The peach ice tea was special. I wished they kept serving it to... me but the service was a little slow . Cat fish is also great. I didn't get the country fried steak this time but I will beback. Read more
I Always love Cracker Barrel but our waiter PETER today made it even better!!! He was sooo kind & personable! I love going to a... restaurant where they make you feel at home... Our server Erica was truly amazing. Professional, polite, funny a good vibe. My husband and I had a very late breakfast at... 2:00pm. The food was amazing Pecan pancakes for me Blueberry for him they were both fantastic. I love the fried apples. Great prices and huge portions. The drinks were so inexpensive and good. Recommend getting the fried chicken! Will be back to... try the desserts next time. Best sweet potato ever!
