We ordered a cake for my granddaughters birthday, a small single layer just for her and also 30 cupcakes for quests. We ordered... them for Saturday. We realized that we forgot to tell them to put my granddaughters name on it. My wife called Friday morning totell them and they said the cupcakes were done! We weren't picking them up until Saturday at noon! So much for fresh! When wegave my granddaughter her cake, you could see through the icing. It was supposed to be swirls! It looked dark. People said itlooked like carrot cake! It crumbled when my granddaughter grabbed it. It was well over cooked! We through it in the trash. Though they do not have a lot of supply to meet the demand, the baked goods at this small and cozy shop are great especially... paired with their hot coffee. My favorite desert fo order is their various cupcake flavors. Read more
Would love to give them five stars but the four times I?ve been there within an hour or so before close, they?ve been out of... bagels. Since this is the only game in town re bagel breakfast sandwiches, I do wish their supply met the demand. You wouldthink they would rather have a few left over bagels at the end of my business day as opposed to telling the customer to orderahead. This would?ve just made someone else not get one. Js. Heaven! I had the scrapple, egg and cheese sandwich and my friends both had the sweet and salty and we all wished we'd tried... this place sooner! I don't believe the scrapple was deep fried which I especially appreciate as deep fried foods tend todisagree with me. The bread was awesome, egg was cooked perfectly and cheese was melty and delicious. Read more
