Holy this place is yummy! We had reservations and we were seated immediately. Our food did not disappoint. 6 of us plus a... toddler and we all shared our food. Had dinner at Chez Renee. We started out with the charcuterie board appetizer and a cocktail. My friend had the scallop risotto.... Cooked perfectly and the scallops were buttery and a little sweet. I had the beef bourguignon with the side of gratin potatoesor the pot o grat. The beef is wagyu and so tender you can cut it with a spoon. The sauce is bursting with a rich hearty flavorand is perfect to soak up in their dense chewy bread. The chocolate mousse was dense, not overly sweet, with lots of richchocolate flavor. Our server was very friendly and helpful and answering our questions to make our choices. We went out tocelebrate our birthdays and this was a wonderful meal for our celebration. I popped in for cocktails. I love their bar. The atmosphere there is casual and everyone is always smiling, especially the... bartender Sam. What a gem. I also enjoy their lighting, the entry way has a beautiful yellow section that's warm and calm thenyou flow into a blue section which is where the bar is and it is very energetic and you finally reach the end of the bar areathat has red lights, where they sometimes have music playing, they have nice bistro tables, a long bench & bar stools,it's avery warm and inviting space.
