We live in NY but every few months we vacation in PA and always take a trip to Log Tavern. Their beer is top notch & we love to... go at different times of the year to try their seasonal brews. The fall ones are my favorite, especially the logtoberfest & thepumpkin. They have a cute outdoor area to sit or indoors is nice too. Always get cans to take home so we can enjoy in betweentrips! What a hidden gem ! It's right off the entrance of PA from NJ, this brewery has a great atmosphere and even better beers. Loved... how it was dog friendly and was able to try out their beers with a few flights and had some of their food as well. Highlyrecommend the dream sickle - I bought a pack to go ! Read more
We love a good brewery and this one delivered on many expectations. Was impressed to see a small kitchen cranking out food for... guests. Many of the beers were on trend. Several IPA's and some fruity beers were among those we tried. We liked the SmashedApples cider, Tavern Gold IPA, and Timber IPA most. They had ample outdoor seating including a large tent. Board games, jumboJenga and Cornhole provided opportunities for fun. They also had a togo cooler by the register with cans and also growlers. Cozy spot for some tasty brews. Service is good and they?ve got a nice variety of beer. You?ll find the trendy IPAs as well as... a selection of other styles. The smashing pumpkinz beer is excellent. The outdoor seating is also very nice with a fireplace,for those cool evenings where you still want to be outside but need a little something to keep you warm. Read more
