I give 5 stars because of the 1 older lady, short and mom like. She and a cook were the only 2 running the place when my husband... and I came in. Around 9 am. She had a line up of cars in drive through. Her amazing attitude and upbeat personality showed nostress or frustration that she was the only front staff here. Then about 920 a manager showed up and the manager was on herphone and really did nothing that would have helped the lady. Didn?t offer her a break. Best run A&W experience. Lisa the Asst. GM makes the difference but the team seem well oiled and cooperative. Attention to order... and special requests was spot on and attention to quality and details just perfect. A great experience. Food was not oily andeverything was hot and cooked just right. Restaurant was very clean and tables cleared and wiped fast. Washrooms were generallyclean but could do with a little more live ???? the breakfast was just perfect and price for All Canadian breakfast is alwayssuper value. Everything was just super. Everything was made to perfection. Extremely tidy dining area with plenty of tables and private booth seating options. They have... the rootbeer slushy making machine here, which not all locations have. And I also have found the employees to be quitewonderful, friendly, helpful, pleasant, on each occasion I've visited. Read more
Location was clean. New staff was being trained when I came in, so it was slow finally being served. I never checked my order... before I left, when drove back to my family's home with our food I find out our burgers where wrong. If it wasn't so far i wouldhave gone back, so i called. They apologized, but it would have been been nice to have the burgers I paid for. What adisappointment. I doubt I will go back here, even though what we ended up with was good. Read more
pulled through the drive through at around 11 am. waited at the speaker for 7 minutes before i said hello, the lady very rudely... said ?we will be with you in a minute.? after around a 15 minute wait (7 minutes included) finally our order was taken. the ladywas very rude, not letting me finish speaking and was just rude over all. food was good, employees are horrible Read more
If you love flies, you'll love this place. Totally disgusting atmosphere in this place almost asked for my money back and leave... the place. The young girls behind the counter have zero motivation and just sit and talk through the window to the cooks aboutwho watched what show and who didn't. The front door was left open so all those delicious flies can come in along with theexhaust fumes from all the vehicles lined up in the drive thru. Order took over 15 minutes and we were the only people inside,very simple order and it wasn't even hot!! Glassware piled up by the front door as well as garbage hanging out of the bins.Definitely not coming back here again and I love A&W, I would rather eat the clown food just up the road and I hate McDonald'sbut at least they have some pride in their workplace. Only 1 older lady working she took so long to take the orders that people couldn't get breakfast even though they waited in line... 20 minutes prior to 11am. The older woman working is also extremely rude not only was she rude with myself and family but everycustomer that walked in while we sat inside to eat were treated with absolute disrespect.
