Excellent place for a meal. I only had the appy fixed fish tacos with mango salsa. Wow! It was delicious!
I was there visiting from Ontario and I had the best server I probably ever had at any restaurant ever. Her name was Britt, she... was not only fast, respectful, and friendly. So personable. She was also so understanding at the fact that I was on the phonebusy at the time of service. We stopped here on our way back into Victoria after reading some reviews. The location and view is spectacular and we were very... impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. Decided to stop here for a late lunch, early dinner on our way back home. Also seen spot on CHEK news, so thought that we... should definitely check out. We sat in the patio area and what an amazing view to share with dinner and friends. What amazingpristine beauty. The food was excellent. Had some fish and chips and there was an option for it to be extra crispy. Took extracrispy option and was not disappointed, definitely the way too order. Chowder was amazing too. We were seated at a lovely two person table overlooking the marina. From our seat we could watch harbour seals, birds and even... peek into the water to see some sea life. We had a delicious lunch here. The burgers and fish tacos were good and the views from the restaurant are great being that is... right on the water. We came by boat and you can tie up at their dock for no charge. Service was a bit slow but we were not in ahurry and they were very busy. We will be back! Read more
I was heading up Island so I reached out to an old friend that lives in Shawnigan to see if she wanted to meet for lunch. She... suggested Bridgeman?s Bistro, and since I?m always happy to try a new place I agreed. Bridgeman?s is right on the water in MillBay at the marina and the view is unbeatable. We ordered the 2 piece fish and chips, their seafood chowder and an order of theirhouse made cornbread. Everything was delicious and the quality of ingredients and care in the preparation of everything is veryapparent! The place gets very busy at lunchtime and with good reason. We got there right at 12 noon and there were maybe 4tables seated but in 15 minutes the place was full and people were waiting at the door. Even though it was busy our food was outwithin a matter of a few minutes, which shows that their kitchen is on the ball.
